PACIFIC POOLS & SPAS

During the course of resurfacing, Pacific clogged the main drain causing the circulation/cleaning system to not work. It took several weeks to clear the problem using acid to clear the drain and causing dark stains the pool. Additionally, during the course of resurfacing, the company created several white spots and streaks in the pool surface that appear to be from chemical spills. After 10 weeks of trying to get the company to repair the problems, we hired another pool company to try to get the circulating/cleaning system working so that we could use the pool. They found that Pacific had incorrectly installed the in-floor heads and the water valve modules. We asked Pacific to reimburse us for the other pool company's work and they refused. The pool still has white marks and stains.

TERRIBLE!!! THIS WAS OUR 2ND POOL AND THE WORST EXPERIENCE TO EVER GO THROUGH. NO ONE CAME TO GO OVER THE LAYOUT, POOL CONSTRUCTION WAS DELAYED DUE TO MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN POOL BUILDER'S SUPERINTENDENT AND HOME BUILDER SUPERINTENDENT. POOL WAS COMPLETED IN A HURRY. HAD TO TURN POOL COMPANY IN TO BBB IN ORDER TO GET MANY REPAIRS RESOLVED. THIS WAS THE HOMEBUILDER'S PREFERRED POOL COMPANY AND NOW THIS HOMEBUILDER DOESN'T RECOMMEND THEM ANYMORE AND NEITHER DO I.

THE POOL EXCAVATION AND CONSTRUCTION BEGAN APPROX. 4 WEEKS LATER THAN WHAT WOULD NORMALLY BE EXPECTED, SO THE POOL WAS STILL BEING CONSTRUCTED/FINISHED AFTER WE MOVED INTO THE HOME. THE SALES REP ALSO CHANGED BETWEEN CONTRACT SIGNING AND CONSTRUCTION, WHICH CAUSED A COMMUNICATION LAPSE. OVERALL QUALITY AND WORKMANSHIP WAS GOOD AND THE QUALITY FOR THE PRICE WAS EXCELLENT.
