Merry Maids of Tempe

I have a lot of experience with Merry Maids. They are an “A” all the way around.

They don't make a judgement.  They come in.  They do the work.  They say do you want anything else and they're out of here.  Nothing to it.

Overall a fairly good job of cleaning. Different crews frequently used. Price increase was unacceptable and have moved to a different service.

They come out once every two months. I am happy with them. Their price is good. I would recommend them.

My original estimate was for $485.00 to clean the walls, baseboards, door sills, and bathrooms of this 3600 sq/ft hoom. Was to include vacuuming the new carpet and dry moping the travertine flooring. After 4 hours it was apparent that the original two cleaners were not going to get finished and an additional crew of two were called in. They neglected to vacuum the carpets or dry mop the floors as it 'was the end of their shift'. Turns out I was charged for ALL FOUR cleaners which shot the original estimates all to bits. I will never use them again!

They do a nice job. I had several other companies out here; but they are very consistent and nice to work with. I will really recommend them. They are always here on time. They follow up, and if I have questions or concern, they are right on top of it. The best part is they really do a good job. They are comparative. They are cheaper than some of the folks are. It is not a commercial company.

I contracted this company to clean my house, after I had sold it, and needed it to be spotless for the new owner. I was very impressed on how well they cleaned the home. Everything was done to my satisfaction. They really are the best cleaners I have ever had.

The company does an excellent job of accommodating my work schedule. They come quickly when I call (typically the next day or 2). I always get a call before they come to give me an approximate time which they will arrive. I always get the same 2 ladies - which is a plus because they know me and what I want done. They are typically on time and do a good job. They are quick, professional, and take good care of my home, including new hardwood floors. They are friendly and efficient. They ask if they have any questions, and will do extra things (change beds) if I ask. I am very pleased!

I requested a one time move-out cleaning. Meery Maids came on time and did a WOW - OMG job!. I have hired them for my new house on a regular basis. They accidentlly broke a blade on a ceiling fan and within two hours had a maintnenance person at the house to replace the blade. They never asked me to pay for that and when he got there he noticed another blade on the same fan that was cracked. He went and purchased a replacement - not charging me for that as well. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

They have done it for years. They are ontime, fast and polite.

They were always prompt, never missed an appointment. We usually got the same crew, and they were very nice. It would take them about 2 hours to clean a 2000 sq foot home. In the end I just decided to save some money and do it myself.

Service is OK. I think they could do a little better in quality and price, but they do OK.

Very prompt, and they call a day ahead to say who is coming with an approximate time. They are very reliable. They only thing is they don't have the same person all of the time and that is very distressing.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR A YEAR NOW AND THEY COME TWICE A MONTH. I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK AND THE WAY THE COMPANY OPERATES THEIR BUSINESS. THE MAIDS ARE VERY POLITE AND CORDIAL AND THEY HAVE PERFORMED AN EXCELLENT JOB.

BOTH CREWS WERE PUNCTUAL AND FRIENDLY. MERRY MAIDS PROVIDES ALL NECESSARY CLEANING SUPPLIES, WHICH IS CONVENIENT. THE CREWS WERE DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES AS THE SECOND VISIT I REQUESTED THE EARLIEST APPOINTMENT TIME AVAILABLE, 8:30 AM. THE MERRY MAIDS STANDARD CLEANING CHECKLIST IS EXTENSIVE; HOWEVER, MY GENERAL OBSERVATION IS THE CLEANING IS SUPERFICIAL. FOR EXAMPLE, FOOD STAINS DROPPED BY MY TODDLER WERE NOT GONE FOLLOWING THE MOPPING OF OUR TILE FLOOR. I SUPPOSE REAL SCRUBBING WILL ALWAYS BE THE HOMEOWNER S WORK, I.E. ME. MERRY MAIDS CLEANING PRODUCTS HAVE A CERTAIN SMELL, WHICH IS MORE NOTICEABLE THAN I PREFER. I AM NOW USING A NEIGHBOR S CLEANING LADY WHO CHARGES $70, AND I PROVIDE THE CLEANING SUPPLIES. HER CLEANING PERFORMANCE IS ABOUT THE SAME.

THE PRICE I THOUGHT WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT THEY DID A GREAT JOB. SO.... OVERALL GOOD PRICING. IT ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU MAKE OR IF YOU HAVE A TWO-INCOME FAMILY. I DIDN'T THINK THAT MUCH COULD BE ACCOMPLISHED IN THAT PERIOD OF TIME, BUT THOSE TWO 'MERRY MAIDS' DID IT. THEY KNEW JUST WHAT TO DO AND SUPPLIED THE PRODUCTS FOR CLEANING. I WOULD RECOMMEND 'MERRY MAIDS' TO ANYONE. 'MERRY MAIDS' MADE MY DAY!

I HAD MERRY MAIDS COME EVERY TWO WEEKS FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, ALLOWING ME TO TEND TO MY CHILDREN AND NOT WORRY ABOUT THE FLOORS, SHOWERS, ETC. I PLAN ON USING THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

GOOD SERVICE, BUT PRICES WERE HIGHER THAN COMPETITION AND THEY WOULD NOT NEGOTIATE. OWNER WAS QUITE PUSHY.

I USED THEM BASED ON THEIR NATIONAL REPUTATION THINKING THEY WOULD BE BETTER THAN THE SMALL LOCAL HOUSE CLEANERS. THEY WERE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE COMPANY THAT I PAID $90 A WEEK. I WOULD HAVE TO SPECIFICALLY TELL THEM TO DO BASIC TASKS SUCH AS VACUUM BOTH SIDES OF A SMALL 2 X 6 THROW RUG. THEY DON'T EVEN SPOT CLEAN MARKS ON THE WINDOW OR ANY DOOR HANDLES.

PRICES FOR THIS ONE TIME CLEANING WERE COMPETITIVE WITH OTHERS IN THE AREA. TWO MAIDS ARRIVED ON TIME AND PROMPTLY BEGAN WORK. ONE MAID DID NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH. THE CLEANING WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN 3 HOURS. THEY RETURNED ABOUT 5 MINUTES LATER TO CLEAN LAUNDRY AREA, WHICH WAS FORGOTTEN.
