John arrived on time, adjusted the duct registers in my home and was finished within 45 minutes. I have used LJM for years and recommend them very highly. Their receptionist/scheduler is named Lupe and is a joy to work with. I have called on Sunday evenings to request a service and expected to leave a voice mail. Lupe answers the phone like it is a regular business day. How rare is that?

The old programmable thermostat stopped programming, though it worked fine manually. I installed a new programmable thermostat but the heat pump wouldn't heat. Only the fan would blow. The manufacturer's rep talked me through some troubleshooting, but it still wasn't working. So, I went to Angie's list for an HVAC tech.
I spoke with John's office around 4 pm; by 5 John called to review my thermostat installation. I sent him a photo; he suggested "jumping" two wires and reviewed my new photo. He didn't want to charge a service call if I could correct it myself! When the heat s15 to say he was running a little late--very polite of him!)
John double-checked the wiring and found it OK; he went to the roof and found a "tripped" switch. Not wanting to replace the electronics board if it's not the problem, he reset it and charged only the service charge. If it trips again, John said he'll only charge me for the new board not another service call.
I appreciated his willingness to help me by phone before I incurred a service call charge!

I asked LJM air to come out and give me advice on replacing or repairing our existing A/C system. A few days ago a different A/C company we had a maintenance contract with came out for an emergency repair, and had charged an exorbitant amount to get our system blowing cold air again. They also said our system was at it's lifespan and was at deaths door so to speak. My gut feeling was that this was in an effort to push me into a new A/C system.
John, the owner of LJM, was nothing like those guys. He showed up on time and took additional steps to verify what the other company was saying. He confirmed what I was thinking, it turns out this system is working as designed. It did not need additional parts other than the work done already, and there is no reason to rush into a brand new costly replacement system (other than to line the pockets of the previous repair service).
Bottom line is that LJM is trustworthy, I would definitely recommend them.

They came out within a day's time and then had to come back a second time to replace another one but they warned me that they had to order that one and they came out as soon as it came in. They were very good. There was no charge because it was all under warranty. They were very helpful. Actually they have to come back for another problem. They have been very accommodating and they come every spring to check out the system. I purchased the unit from them 5 years ago and they have been very responsive and there have been no additional charges. I've been real happy with them.

We called LJ Refrigeration (for a second opinion) based on Angie's list recommendation after being advised by another AC company to buy a new unit or spend $500 in maintenance. LJ exceeded our expectations and explained in detail the issues with the previous company's recommendations. We feel, based on the very positive recommendations for LJ and our experience with them, we have found a company we can trust.

It went extremely well. They did analysis to see what size system we needed. Dealing with the owner was very easy. He was very knowledgeable. The system is very efficient and it was on time and in budget.

We had some problems with our previous heating and air conditioning Company but this company was very professional. They will do maintenance about twice a year to clean filters, check coils, and provide routine care. The units are working fine.

LIZ AND LARRY MUSCEGAN WERE VERY REASONABLY PRICED. LARRY IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE A/C UNITS. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND CAME OUT QUICKLY.
