Nice establishment, but not cheap at $54/month. I liked working out there, but after about 6 months, they closed the place for a whole week for renovations. When they re-opened, the only change that I noticed was new carpet. That was enough for me to try another gym (and save some money in the process). I haven't been back to Lifetime, but if I wanted a gym with a pool, I would probably return.

I don't use them very much, but I think their fitness center is very nice. I like the fact that it has lots of equipment to use and lots of facilities. I think for people who like them they're very good, but I think their pricing is a little high.

I had a full membership with them. I quit because it was becoming like kiddies over there, as they didn't know if they wanted to be a gym or a day care center. They cut their services out. They didn't care. If a person is a young professional, they hyped that idea. If one is a family, they hyped that idea. They didn't know what they wanted to be doing there having a crazy pizza party. It was ridiculous. They were doing so much over there. They need to focus there. As a gym, they were good; but they lost their focus. The communication was poor. I didn't get an appropriate response from them.

My experience with my personal trainer has been very positive. She is incredibly qualified to coach, knowing when to push and when not to and how to alter the painful exercises to make them comfortable. I am the kind of person who hates to exercise. She makes it fun, interesting and challenging! I have been advised on diet, how to exercise outside of my sessions and given general encouragement. I have lost 25 lbs, and increased my muscle and bone strength.

Lifetime Fitness is the best fitness experience for me to date. The facilities are amazing for what you pay, from the weight training and cardio equipment, to the many daily classes. They are open 24 hours a day, which is very nice. I would say the only downside I've seen is that the gym can actually get crowded (mainly weight training area) during peak times.

Not only did I join, I used the personal trainer option and I have continued using their services. It has proven to be the motivator I needed to keep me focused and exercising safely and effectively.

I've been a member of Lifetime since it opened. It's such a great environment- very luxurious, like you're on vacation at a fancy resort for an hour or two. I've never been there when I couldn't get on some machine, although sometimes one particular type might be unavailable for a short time. It seems that most members are middle aged moms and dads who are there for health - not too many of the obsessive exercisers. It's very family oriented and there are lots of activities for the kids. The pool is a favorite and the rock gym is great, although not too challenging for really great climbers. Two full basketball courts and often some people shooting or playing a pick-up game.

When moving here, I was advised by my real estate agent to check this gym out. Boy, was she right--fabulous facility with lots of benefits for the money. The membership advisor who helped us, Maureen, was really terrific, too. Very down-to-earth, funny and encouraging about our fitness goals. My husband and I both received a fitness assessment and three intro private training sessions. I liked my trainer, Beth Lively, so much, that I paid extra (80 dollars per session) to keep working out with her 3x/week. That was months ago. I'm 39 and prior to this, hadn't worked out in years. Now I go 4-6x/week because I love this place and its convenient. HUGE benefit is the childcare center, which is included in the price of membership! The center is terrific, the staff is very friendly and professional and best of all, my six year-old loves going there while I work out. Even on the busiest days, I have had no problem accessing equipment. Cafe has great food. Get a massage w/David H.

I have been with this gym for about 3 years and love it. They are open 24 hours and have a salon, health food caf , 2 indoor pools, and 2 outdoor pools (there is one lane pool only for adults both inside and outside). I had done personal training for a while, but it was too expensive and there are only a few good trainers there. I love their classes but can never go to them because of the schedule. If you work an 8-5 job and have to commute to work then a class later in the evening is ideal, but I always find them to not be the beginning spinning classes that I am interested in. They have a Pilate's studio, but it costs extra to use it for classes. They have a good variety of machines and I never really have to wait to use machines or weights. They also offer free child care for when you are working out and have tons of activities for kids. They also have racquetball, tennis, and basketball courts, and a rock wall. There are no contracts to sign which I liked over other gyms.

THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE OF THE PRICIEST FITNESS CLUBS AROUND, BUT IT IS ALSO THE NICEST. THE SPA-LIKE ATMOSPHERE IS CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, AND ALMOST RELAXING. NEVER BEFORE HAVE I BEEN TO A GYM WHERE THE LOCKER ROOM ACTUALLY SMELLS GOOD! EVEN AT ITS BUSIEST, THERE IS PLENTY OF EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE FOR USE. THE CARDIO THEATER IS HUGE, AND THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFFERENT LINES OF MACHINES, AS WELL AS CABLE AND FREE WEIGHTS. TRAINERS ARE ALSO READILY AVAILABLE TO HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT. THE COMFORTABLE SURROUNDINGS DEFINITELY SOFTEN THE BLOW OF THE HIGH PRICE.

THE GYM IS A GREAT ENVIRONMENT EVEN FOR A COUPLE WITH CHILDREN. THEY HAVE SEPARATE LOCKER ROOMS FOR WOMEN, MEN, AND ALSO FAMILY CHANGING ROOMS. THE PRICE IS A LITTLE MUCH, BUT I'LL PROBABLY KEEP GOING. THE CLASSES ARE GREAT AND ON TIME. THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM IN THE POOL FOR DOING LAPS.
