A friend recommended I take the car to Ken's Auto for a second opinion. Ken said I needed an oil change and an air filter. I pointed out the list of repairs the dealership said I needed. Ken said none of that was needed, no fluids were leaking, and my car looked good.
It is rare that one finds an honest auto mechanic, especially when he is given the opportunity to take advantage of someone else's over-priced estimate. Ken does all of the mechanical work on my car and the cars of a few of my family members. I tell all of my friends and hand out his cards frequently.
If you live in the area and want an honest mechanic, I recommend you go to Ken's Auto. He will get the work done in a timely manner, do a high quality job, and charge you a reasonable price.
