WORST Angie's List experience ever. Jose came the 1st time. Did some extra work, so paid him more. However, the 2 very small bushes his son "planted" had to be replanted by me, but nothing was said to Jose. Came the 2nd time (after repeated texts from me inquiring if he was coming) & did a fairly minimal amount of work (no bushes trimmed, just mow & blow) but was paid in full. Supposed to be here today. We have texted/called for the last 10 days. He has not had the simple courtesy of responding at all, even to say he wouldn't be here. Have a huge event at the house this week, & the front & back both look like no one has been here in at least a month. We would absolutely advise against using him for any work whatsoever. Anyone who treats customers this way does not deserve your business!

As suggested by other reviewers, I texted Jose and got a very quick response.   He came out the next day to quote the job and then texted me back with his availability date.   He showed up a little earlier than our agreed-upon time (which worked out great for me), and he did a great job.   I couldn't be happier with the quality, professionalism and promptness and will definitely use his services again.

he reviewed small shrub cleanup job at my condo when he said he would. gave a price and I approved. a date set. he showed up early ready to go. quality clean up job by him.

I texted Jose (as a previous member had recommended). He got back to me immediately to schedule an appointment. He showed up promptly (with his son as a helper) and worked diligently for a number of hours. He trimmed the hedges, bushes, bamboo and trees. He removed several small trees that had died. He mowed, raked and weeded. The yard looks wonderful (it was a jungle prior to his work). To maintain our yard we are scheduling with Jose ongoing maintenance. We could not be more pleased.

He was nice, easy to reach, and was punctual. He did a good job.

Jose responded promptly to my original text and was at my house within 48 hours to give the estimate. The price was very fair. He arrived promptly on the scheduled day and did a very thorough job. I've engaged him to maintain the property on a monthly basis.

We asked for a quote to trim 7 bushes and 2 shrubs in our small front yard. We also have 1 tree that we specifically asked not be considered in the quote. Jose texted us that he would be by to take a look at our yard and would give us a quote. He came by early in the morning (before 7:00) on Memorial Day. Luckily, I was awake when he texted me the price of $95 (including the tree trimming) and could start right away. I texted back that I would have to check with my husband first and also asked for a quote to handle our yard without the tree trimming. He never responded. I texted 3 hours later asking for a quote without the tree. No response. I sent another text at 7:00 that night asking for a quote without the tree trimming. Jose responded saying he was booked for two weeks and could not help us. All we asked for was a quote to trim our bushes and shrubs and he couldn't be bothered unless we included the tree? Waste of our time.

We recently purchased a bank owned property on an 11,000 square foot lot and it was in ROUGH shape. The previous owners had not done any yard work in a long time since the weeds were about 4 feet tall and the bushes had taken over the entire lot. I saw on one of the reviews from another Angies list user that Jose preferred to communicate by text so I sent him a text at 9pm the night before the service. Jose responded immediately and came out the next day gave me a quote of $210 to mow the lawn, trim the bushes, remove the hundreds of weeds and haul away a ton of trash that the previous owners had left. I would use him again in a heartbeat...he did an amazing job and for a very reasonable price considering the amount of work he did to get the yard back in shape.

He did a lot of work for a very reasonable price. We had two enormous,
cold-damaged bougainvillea which made our backyard look like the castle
in Sleeping Beauty. He trimmed and hauled all those branches. With
the other bushes, he did not just hack back healthy stuff so that
they'd have to grow out to look good but gave them a nice shape and
trim. He also spent a lot of time on clean-up. Our landscape tends to drop a lot of litter into the pool, and he cleaned that out as well.
I will definitely use the company again - we have used several lawn companies over the years, and this was the best.

In general, great service at a fair price. He does like to communicate by text messaging, so just keep that in mind. In a way that is good, because he responds fast.

He has been on time and quick to respond when needed.

I had a man who did our yard and tree maintenance fo several years and he decided to quit that type of work. He did a great job and I was worried that I wouldn't find someone as good. I searched Angie's List and found Jose and liked the reviews. I called Jose and he came over and gave me a very competitive quote. After the first monthly service I was extremely happy and found that I had no reason to worry about finding someone as good as are past yard service guy because Jose was even better! He has done our monthly yard service now for six months and does a fantastic job and always goes the extra mile. The yard never looked better and I highly recommend Jose as he is honest, very friendly, professional, has very competitive prices and does fantastic work on time every time. Hire Jose ... you'll never be sorry!!!

He removed both of those. In typical fashion, he did everything we asked him to and he totally cleaned the entire yard which wasn't part of it. He hauled everything away. He is just fantastic. He works himself and he did bring someone to help him this time. He is so reasonable. We have had him about five times now to do different things.

I called and left him a message on the 14th he never called me back about 18 hours later I got a text message. REALLY??? How did he even know I text capabilities. We went back and forth via text but in the end he never called and never did any work for me.
I'm very disappointed in Angie's list, but then only 7 people raved about this guy.
I don't know about you but good customer service would require a phone call.

Our backyard was in need of a good clean up after our regular maintenance person got sick and could not do the job anymore. Jose responded quickly when we contacted him, and gave us a reasonable estimate very soon thereafter. He arrived to do the job promptly and worked very hard. It was tough to remove the bamboo, but he got it out. He hauled the trimmings away as well. He was professional and very nice. We will be using him for our yard maintenance from now on.
