Goettl Air Conditioning

**Update 7/1: Yunior from Goettl was sent this morning to do what Goettl should have done in the first place over a week ago without me having to escalate to this level (including to the BBB), which is install the hard start free of charge. Yunior did a great and efficient job, as Derrick did as well doing the initial service - in no way is/was this a concern with the techs themselves, as they are just the messengers. I truly hope this is the end to these types of issues with them moving forward.**

I had them install a water softener and tankless heater a little while back, during the install they broke some gym equipment rather than moving it. It was easily movable and I had told them beforehand to come get me if they needed anything moved as I was home during the install As an offer to make things "better" they put us on some kind of protection/service plan. We used this to get our AC checked before it got hot for summer. Their technician told us everything was ok. Our AC just died in the middle of the night and when I called them about it, they said they wouldn't be able to look at it for several days. Awful company with awful technicians and awful customer service. Stay far away.

They were very professional. They were timely in their service. They did a good job.

They have been great. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

I was quoted over the phone that the price would be $1800 to install a $120 fan with four screws. I said that I would refer this to the attorney generals office which I did they brought the price down to $865 to install a $120 fan.

It went great! Goettl has been our go – two air-conditioner service or 10 years. We eventually bought two new heat pumps from them, they cleaned our ducts, installed electronic filters, And you are all our maintenance and repairs. They’ve honored a warranty. The guys are very pleasant and businesslike. Their professional.

He did fantastic and our bill has went down over $50. They were patient with us and they did everything we asked them to do. It was more expensive than we expected, and they got us financing right off the back, they gave us a large discount from some old promotions they had and they honored it. They did a lot for us.

The service was good and the price was reasonable. I'd use them again if I still lived in Arizona.

Goettl Air fit us in when our A/C broke down during a record heat wave. Despite being crazy busy, they made it out during with appointment window and gave us notice via phone when they were on their way. The technician Mark was very knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure after replacing the part to re-check the entire system and even went into duct work in attic to ensure all was working properly. Very happy with the service!

We have a contract with Goettl. They are phenomenal. They are wonderful across the board, so you can give them an A for everything. I just was so pleased with them. We have a monthly contract with them and our contract is $25 or $29 a month. I use them for anything air conditioning and heating.

They make sure everything is operating properly.  They come at least once a year.  I believe I have originally gotten them through Angie's List but it was in 2010.  I'm not positive - I don't remember that far back.  The service call was included.  The air conditioning units originally I guess I may have overpaid, but their service has been good, and apparently I paid for the service, a ten year warranty is included, so that may be why I paid more for the air conditioners.  The worker was very professional, excellent, and very polite.  They put on those little booties before they come in your house, and they're very knowledgeable.  I bought the air conditioners from them and I've been using them ever since.

Great. I was in a rental and using the heater for the first time and it wasn't working. They came on time as promised, told me what they were going to check, diagnosed a missing part quickly and made the repair. The tech was very neat, cleaned up and followed up a few days later to make sure all was taken care of!

Goettl is fine. Didn't you hear the commercial on the radio, "We give you a free flashlight"? No? Well, they do. They give you a free flashlight, a Goettl flashlight.   He made sure it worked efficiently. He checked everything. Wherever there wasn't a screw, he pointed out, holding the guts and all that stuff. He put a Goettl screw in there so they know it was their screw that was installed in the unit. And they had to send several pictures over to headquarters to tell them, "This is what we do. This is what it looks like." And supposedly the chief looks at it and says, "Well, yeah, do this, do that. Okay. It's fine." And the guy stayed here by three hours, explaining everything. And he sold us a contract because we thought it was pretty cool.  They're gonna come on Monday to do the furnace though. Whatever the top is rating is. I'm very happy with them. Everything is cool.

They offer a 3 year program where they come twice a year to clean and update. On the first visit I had a major work done due to condensation and I have the remaining 3 years. The service person they sent was very knowledgable, everything on the truck to repair and offered the 3 year deal to save some money. Everything was done price wise before the work so I knew what it was going to cost. They were very upfront about that, knowledable about my system and did a good job. I think they are slightly more expensive then the regular guys going around but they are very well trained. They do high level background checks on their guys so I felt comfortable having them in our house, no felons or anything. My AC is relatively new and did not look like it was installed correctly and it looks so much better now. It looks like he added a part to the front so it wont leak. It looks a lot better and cleaner. He got into parts the original installer never opened up. They were very responsive. I called them, they did their best for an appointment, it took a few days but it is super duper hot here. They got here in a timely manner. They called me several times to let me know he would be late because he was working on a bigger unit. They called me right before he came too. Now that I am in the system, the time response is preferred. They respond more quickly to people in the plan vs someone who is a one time use. He did come late but it was because the prior person had more serious problems, but they notified me and I was ok with it.

STAY AWAY from this company. Spent over $8,000 on AC unit with variable speed fan. 1st installer lied and didn't install variable speed fan. 2nd installer still missed attaching all duct work. Now 4 years later the AC quit working and they want to charge $79 for service fee and not show up for 2 more days. Unit sold with 10 year warranty for all parts and service. RIP OFF, OVER PRICED and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I was not happy with what they did. I had to replace the system a few months later. I did not like how they were just trying to sell me a service agreement.
