FULTON HOMES CORPORATION

polWe were building our home and it flooded days before we were to move in. They were aware of this and did not inform us of this. They refused to let us see the extent of the damage and lied to us about the reasons why - we received an apology the next day for lying when we demanded to see our flooded home. They tried to cover up the damage by patching the holes in the walls (we catch them doing this) and said there were moisture tests that were done but could not produce results. There was extensive damage done to our home -  walls were knocked down and insulation (that was soaked) was torn out in a percentage of the house. We had to move in to this. Fulton says we never have to disclose that our home has had water damage even tho it has had MAJOR water damage to it. Weird. They told me Fulton does not believe in any compensation. The wrong color grout was used when they did the repairs. They were rude and told me I was fortunate I didn't have to pay for this myself. Also, when we did the walk thru to move in, they just flat out didn't repair a lot of the stuff and simply left the tape on the stuff needing repairs!

HOME PRICE WAS VERY ATTRACTIVE SINCE WE PURCHASED IN THE FIRST PHASE OF CONSTRUCTION. OUR SALES REP WAS VERY NICE AND RESPONSIVE. THE SELLING AND PRIMARY CONSTRUCTION PROCESS WENT SMOOTHLY. DID HAVE SOME ISSUES AFTER WE CLOSED ON THE HOUSE..A FEW MINOR WARRANTY ISSUES AND SOME CUSTOMER CARE RESPONSE DELAYS. BUT OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD.
