 + -1 moreI was quite surprised at the number of titles they had available at these rock bottom clearance prices. Rental stores were selling their previously viewed inventory for around double what Fry's was selling new discs for. Whether it's HD DVD at clearance prices, or new release blu-ray, Fry's prices can't be beat.
Description of Work: I purchased a number of HD DVD's that were marked at clearance prices since this has become a dead format. Discs that were originally selling for $30+ were marked down to $5.99 and they had a huge selection. All discs were sealed, brand new. I'll be watching these discs for years to come, as long as my player holds out. In addition, they just had all 6 of the newly released Bond movies in the blu-ray format for $16.99 each, by far the cheapest price around. Fry's is the place for purchasing high definition movies.

 + -1 moreSales rep was arrogant and rude. Sold me junk product and then requested that I upgraded to something that cost $200 more when I realized that my "refurbished" desktop needed a new keyboard, new mouse, and new MOTHERBOARD! Everything was returned and management was notified of the issue.
Description of Work: Bought "refurbished" desktop computer. When computer box was opened at home, I found a dirty used keyboard that didn't work, the mouse didn't work well, and the tower had a video game in the CD-ROM. Refurbished my rear...this was a junky used computer that they attempted to pass off as refurbished. Then to boot, the desktops motherboard went bad the day I got it home. All items bought were returned and the money went to Best Buy. On a better note. The department manager was very nice when I talked to her, she has offered me a gift certificate for my troubles.

camera repair
 + -1 moreCAMERA WAS DEFECTIVE; IT WOULD NOT HOLD A CHARGE. WHEN RETURNED TO FRY'S IT TOOK THEM OVER 3 MONTHS TO RETURN THE CAMERA. STAFF DID NOT KNOW WHERE THE CAMERA WAS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. IN ADDITION, SPEAKING TO A MANAGER WAS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE.
Description of Work: DIGITAL CAMERA PURCHASED IN DECEMBER BROKE IN MAY OF FOLLOWING YEAR.
