not only did they fix the door, but added additional bracing for stabilization, slowed the speed and reprogrammed our remotes.

Everything went great, the new door works perfectly and looks amazing

arrived as scheduled - - but did not have the part on the truck so did a "repair"  he was really good.  - - got a follow up call from the office wanting to know if we want them to complete the repair ?  with a laugh I replied YES - HELLO - - our guy came back out and completed the job - - 
I did note that they show the hours Monday - Saturday - - - they are open Monday - Friday - - I mentioned it to two different people in the office and no one was impressed - - pointed out I was a member of "angie's list" and that was where I noticed the time frame (hours) .  again not impressed.
I LIKE THESE PEOPLE - - USED THEM BEFORE AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN - - THE OFFICE STAFF JUST NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT UP TO SPEED.

Great job.  Will use Cookson Door again and will gladly refer the company to neighbors and friends

My double garage door needed to be replaced. Mike at Cookson came out and found replacement door panels to match my single garage door, which was made by a company, Anozira, that is now out of business. The installer completed the work in a couple hours. I'm very pleased with my new door.

Gentleman was professional, quick & diligent about his work.  It was August so it was very hot & he had already worked a long day by the time he was at my house in the late afternoon.  The whole experience went very smooth.

Called and made my request for service Wednesday during the noon hour, and asked for someone to come on Thursday afternoon (they could not come that same day). The scheduler called later to confirm, and I asked for a 2-4 p.m. window. When we arrived home Thursday afternoon about 1:40, the service man was waiting for us. He diagnosed several problems and went right to work. Within 45 minutes he had everything working smoothly and perfectly. Very pleasant and very competent.

The repairman arrived on time.
He inspected both doors (one was already broken) and determined that the single door's attachment point was starting to break (metal was cracked).
He repaired the cabling on the double door and re-tensioned the springs.
He then moved to the single door and added a new re-reinforcement bar across the top of the door and then reattached the opening system to the door. He also rehung the opener so that it was correctly inline with the path of the door.  The entire service took 1 hour and the cost was very reasonable.  This was my second time using Cookson Door and I would use them again.

the tech called when he was on his way and the office called to confirm that they had a tech and he would be out when they promised.

I was off for the week and wanted to get this done while I had the time. I called and they were able to accommodate my schedule. There was a little paperwork mixup on the day of my appointment, however a quick call and they went out of their way to make sure everything happened for me as planned. Most companies would have forced me to reschedule, they rerouted an installer and then  had someone else drive out to meet the installer to deliver the unit to him (I had requested a special model). 
The installer was so nice and clearly knew what he was doing. I'm glad he pointed out the rollers on my garage door, because they were in BAD shape. He replaced them with some really nice ones. 
When everything was done, he setup everything and gave me a really good tutorial on the new system. I really appreciated that he took the time to clean up the existing wiring, which was really messy and not secured. After he was done, everything looked so clean and the wiring had been replaced and was nicely secured. 
They even came back out to install the battery for the unit. No extra trip charge or anything like that. 
I appreciate everyone going out of their way to make the scheduling work - and most importantly - I appreciate the amazing installation and quality equipment. 

They did a very professional and quality job.  They continue to come adjust the door springs even after the repair.

It went well. I called them on Monday, set an appointment for Friday. They called on Thursday to verify. They showed up early. Mike was the technician. He was courteous, and did good work. The work took approximately one hour.

The sales person was helpful in pointout the options we had for both the doors and the openers.  He came to our house to assess the garage for any particular problems prior to ordering the installation.  The installer did a great job.  Right on time, worked quietly all day, and everything worked perfectly when he was finished.  We felt like we got a great deal to boot.

I had a great experience with Cookson Door.  I had used them before and re-discovered them on Angie?s List.  I called on Monday to schedule an appointment.  I asked if they could come out the next day.  The gentleman told me they could be there at 11am.  I told him I?d like to have the first appointment on another day.  He told me he?d switch the appointments around so I could be the first appointment the next day.  Dan, the serviceman, arrived on time and was very professional.  He discovered the problem with the door and showed me while I was out there.  He also performed routine maintenance on both of my doors.   I was very pleased with the overall experience.  I could have saved some money going with any other company, but I may not have been as satisfied.
