I did the same thing you are doing now. I had a mold problem and I wanted to choose a professional to help me with it, but I wanted to choose based on what actual real people were saying about the contractor. I chose ASAP Restoration because of the good things people said in the reviews, and it was a good move for me. Josh answered my call on a Sunday, and he did every single thing he promised to do. He was a pleasure to deal with and all of his people were very nice also. They did a clean job and treated my facility with great care. They also left me with really nice reports that show exactly how good the air quality is in my space now - I really liked that part. I am glad I found ASAP because I have read lots of comments online from people who had bad experiences with other contractors. My experience was very good, and I feel completely comfortable recommending this company to anyone who asks me.

This was a difficult review to write, because finding water damage and mold in your home is an awful thing to go through. I knew what I was in for when I called Josh because I've had to do it before. I knew that he was going to have to tear all the drywall out, scrub the 2 x 4's, wall off parts of my home in plastic zipper rooms, and leave loud dryers and dehumidifiers to run 24 hours a day. Plus, we were supposed to go away that weekend for a labor day camping trip. All plans were suddenly off. I DID NOT want to do this! But, if you want to maintain the value of a home you love, you have to bite the bullet.
Once we decided to move forward with the remediation, Josh brought his team in that very night. They worked until about 1 AM. When they were done, plastic walls from ceiling to floor sealed off the area. Inside the plastic rooms, machines blew hot air and hoses from de-humidifiers drained into my sink. Throughout the weekend, Josh came by to take readings and keep track of the drying out process. Once he determined that the area was completely dry, he had an outside laboratory come and test the air to be sure all the mold was gone. Thankfully, the air was clear and we were ready to start rebuilding.
Josh is one of the hardest working people I've met, and probably a bit of a perfectionist as well. He is an expert in his field and I trust him to do a job and give it his absolute best. He kept me informed every step of the way and showed me the work as he went. By the time he was done, the area was scrubbed absolutely clean. His expertise is obvious.
The demolition that he did on my water damaged walls was extreme, though I've been through worse, and family members have told me that it isn't necessary and that these companies use scare tactics. Everyone has to decide for himself what to do. We chose to get rid of the mold and have it done right to preserve the value of our home. Josh and ASAP did an excellent job.
One other thing I liked about ASAP is that Josh uses unmarked vans. Nothing worse than having plumbing trucks and water restoration vans parked in front of your house for days.
I did not use Josh for the rebuild because I have another company I had worked with before that I trusted.
I hope that I never have to do this again, but if I do, I'll call Josh. A couple of things that I would do different next time: There were a few pieces of cabinet molding and shelves that I think could have been preserved and would have helped in the rebuild. Maybe not, but I wish I had involved myself in the decision and looked at what he removed. Also, I wouldn't call on a Friday night when I have weekend plans and the water leak is already stopped. We changed our plans to stay home and keep an eye on the equipment because I was afraid a breaker might blow out and time wasted if the machines weren't running. Next time, I'm calling on Monday.
It was difficult to give ASAP an A on pricing because this kind of work is just plain expensive and I have no way of knowing if I'm getting good value. We were paying out of pocket rather than using our homeowners insurance and Josh did what he could to keep costs down. Knowing that insurance companies add to costs by requiring extra phone calls and paperwork and also delay payment, a discount for private cash paying customers would have been appreciated.
Overall, the experience with Josh and ASAP was positive. It's kind of like surgery. You don't want to do it, but if you have to, you want to know you are in good hands and you want the best.

They were wonderful overall! They got me the results within just a few days.

) It all went well. Josh came on short notice to assess initial damage and determine a course of action. Did remediation on a Sunday, he and one other worker.  They were thorough, fairly fast for the nature of the work and I think Josh was generally honest in his estimates but perhaps underestimated a little vs. the final bill.  That said, I would use Josh and ASAP again without hesitation.  He was quick to respond to all phone calls and always asked if we had questions for things he may have missed. He and his employees were efficient and those he recommended for tasks out side his sphere of work (expert level dry cleaning of sports memorabilia, asbestos testing) were expensive also seemed efficient, though we have yet to receive our memorabilia despite being told the cleaning is finished. This is not Josh's doing.

Discovered water heater leak, ASAP was extremely responsive in arriving to diagnose full extent of damage. Unfortunately damage was significant, but ASAP was professional and patient in explaining the situation and answering all our questions. They worked very hard in getting the job done quickly and correctly

I had discovered a mold problem in a house I was selling and wanted to get it remediated asap. Josh came within 4 hrs of my call to give me an estimate. He advised me of the process involved and had a wealth of knowledge about mold. He got the work completed within a few days. He kept me apprised of everything going on and always answered his phone whenever I called. Great customer service !!I would highly recommend ASAP

After discovering a leaking water heater and receiving an estimate from another company that we felt was excessive, we called ASAP Restorations to get a second opinion. Josh ( company owner) was very patient and helpful as he explained some of our options. We decided to have him come out to the house and inspect the damage himself. Josh and one other guy showed up at about 5:30 pm that evening.  They quickly got to work inspecting the damaged area and gave me a thorough description of what would be needed. They spent about three hours removing all the damaged pieces and cleaning up the area. Thankfully the damage was not as severe as first thought. I did not have ASAP Restorations replace the drywall and rebuild the pedestal as those are jobs I was capable of completing myself. If I found myself ever needing cleanup work like this done in the future I would not hesitate to call them.

As a local business owner, I have a firm understanding of integrity and professionalism and have high expectations for any contractor that I work with.  I feel my business is valuable and I should be made to feel as such.  I believe quality, responsiveness, and customer service are a must from any company that claims to be professional.  ASAP restoration met all my high expectations and then some.  Tough conversations with insurance companies are not for everyone, and it was a relief and surprise that Josh not only took the initiative to handle negotiations/discussions on my behalf, but his points were well made with the insurance and he saw to it that we were paid what was fair. Great experience on a couple different occasions with this company.

Restoration (smoke, water, sewage, whatever) usually has to get started quickly to avoid further damage. This was definitely a concern in my case. They came out promptly with exactly the equipment promised, and gave careful instructions on what to do (and not do) to make sure remediation went as well as possible. Testing and checking was done to make sure all the drying-out was really complete before they removed their equipment.
ASAP provides a lot of services I didn't need for this particular problem, but based on the care they took at every step of the job, I would trust them with far worse. You never want to be in a position to need this type of service but when you do, you need people who are responsive, reliable and professional. That was my experience with ASAP.
