Sam Sonive was GREAT! He got the old latch removed and replaced the part so we didn't have to go buy the whole new door knob assembly.

I have used the shop services of A-1 for over 30 years and have been satisfied with every service they performed.  If they didn't have the product in house they ordered it and called me upon arrival.  If they couldn't deliver the product or service, they always provided me with a referral to someone that could do it.  
May 20, 2014 was their first service call to my residence.  They met all of my expectations as reflected in the "Ratings".
Note to Angie's List:   You have this business listed as "A1 LOCKSMITH & SECURITY CENTER".   The Company invoice lists the name as "A-1 LOCKSMITH & SECURITY CENTER INC."

A-1 came out here on short notice (say, the next day, I think), and fixed the two locks. Nothing really remarkable to write - the locks worked after they left, which is the main thing.

THE LOCKSMITH DID AN EXCELLENT JOB, FAST AND FOR A REASONABLE PRICE. WE TRIED TO DO THE WORK OURSELVES AND FAILED DUE TO THE DIFFICULT NATURE OF OLD LOCKS AND DOORFRAMES. THEY WERE ON-TIME FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT AND DID THE WORK FOR A REASONABLE PRICE

WE CALLED AND HE CAME WITHIN AN HOUR, BUT A CO-WORKER HAD ALREADY COME AND UN-LOCKED THE BUILDING WHERE WE LEFT OUR CAR KEYS. HE MADE A SPARE KEY, AND DIDN'T CHARGE US BECAUSE WE HAD TO PAY THE SERVICE FEE ANYWAY.
