.The electrician was a large man who had a much smaller apprentice with him.  He consistently raised his voice and the whole experience for the apprentice was humiliating.  I found it to be embarrassing to the point of staying in another room.  I did not call the company to complain as the job was done and over with.  The criticism this young man had to endure told me he would probably walk off this particular company's job immediately and look for better people to work with.

Two installers arrived right on time, discussed work with me, gave me alternatives, went right to work, and were done in under an hour. They did not take away the boxes or the old stuff. I am not sure if they were supposed to do that, but I would have appreciated that. But, great work.

The man who came out was very friendly and very good. He explained everything to me and worked really well. He really went out of his way to explain how the work should be done.

I was very impressed by the electrician that came to make a quote. He first had experience with the antiquated electrical panel (circa 1965), electrical codes of that age and current codes, and was able to give us an off-the-cuff quote as well as a more detailed quote delivered when promised. Tempe Electric Company was paid from our escrow from the sale of our house. All the work was completed on time and as specified. They were able to work with our real estate agent as we moved out of town before the work was completed. We took quotes from a total of three electricians. TEC was the most knowledgeable, the most punctual, and (as mentioned) delivered as promised. (As compared to on electrician that never even bothered to fax us his quote!) We had a few more electrical items to be done (install a new line to the pool pump, install a gfc for the pool light switch and other small jobs) that we ended up hiring a handyman for because of cost. But TEC's cost for the electrical panel was in line with the other quotes we received.
