Outstanding response and service! Our "builder grade" garage door hoist spring failed after only 7 years of use! For reference, we lived in our last home for 24 years and never had a failure of the hoist system. Emilio (Owner of Zero Fox) came out after hours to take a look, evaluate and gave me a price to convert to a "traditional" hoist assembly. I knew it was a fair price because I had gotten a phone quote from another company - that couldn't come out until the next day, but was familiar with our installation as all of the homes in our development have the same hoist installed and are experiencing similar failures! We still didn't get repaired until the following day but Emilio did lift the door enough so that I could get 1 of the 2 cars out from being trapped inside! And true to his word, Emilio showed up the next morning with all the pieces/parts required to convert and upgrade our garage door hoist. A GREAT job, cost AS QUOTED and done in the TIME ESTIMATED! Zero Fox does not have many reviews as they are just getting started - but I can assure you that you will get an honest evaluation and a good quote for what you need for your garage door. I will be using Zero Fox for any/all of my garage door needs - THANK YOU Emilio! The above was written on June 4 for work accomplished on June 3. On June 13, the garage door was making some "banging" noises when opening. I called Emilio and described the problem and he asked if that afternoon would work for me to come look at the door. He arrived at the committed time and began evaluating the door's motion and travel. After some minor adjustments and re-lubrication, the door was operating smoothly open and close. My lesson was to lubricate more often in the hot, dry weather BEFORE you call a garage door company. Emilio spent a good hour & a half evaluating and did not charge for the trip - even though as it turns out the cause was not from his previous work - it was lack of lubrication (which had been done during the above spring conversion). Emilio was great. He gave me options for repair (which I didn’t think was going to possible) but we ultimately settled on replacement. Installation was fast and painless.
