His prices are reasonable, he explains what he's doing and doesn't do unnecessary procedures.  He is an A+ provider to work with.

I suspected viruses in my computer and contacted Andy at Tip Top PC for help.  He did the diagnostic work on the computer and made repairs.  He was punctual, professional, pleasant, and effective.  He estimated the cost before doing the work.  He explained  the steps he was taking during the repair and was very responsive to questions and comments.
  
I have done business with Andy more than once and am quite happy to have found him at Tip Top PC. 
It is very unsettling to have computer problems and Andy brings a sense of calm professionalism and expertise which eases the anxiety factor.  I have confidence in Tip Top PC and can't imagine calling anyone else.

Excellent prompt service!  I really appreciated Andy's explanations of what he was doing and answers to my questions.  He also fixed my external hard drive performance that I use for a backup.  Unloaded my existing antivirus/internet security and loaded a new free program ("free" is good!)  I definitely recommend Andy and would use him again in a heartbeat.

Andy began with a quiet, calm assessment of my issues;  of the ways in which I use my home office desktop and laptop for work here and as I travel. I appreciated the time spent to develop the specific list of "to do's together.
Andy then organized the list in an appropriate sequence and went step-by-step to address each item.  All along the way, he described what he was doing at each step; he asked for opinions and mutual decision-making about settings (so that the ultimate system was operating to meet my needs.)
We tested operations together when the list was complete.
All along the way, Andy was pointing out ways I could troubleshoot in the future.   
He was available by phone for a question I had after he departed. 
I felt I had a partner who really wanted to be sure my home IT network met my needs when the work was done.

He's responsive, professional and he certainly knows what he's doing.  I trust him and he always does a good job.

It was determined that I had done everything possible without a reinstall of windows. He told me to try that and if it didn't work then they would come check it out. The reinstall worked but I'm going to get ahold of them for other assistance on more computers. Great people to work with.

 my computer and determined probable causes and made some adjustments. 
Also Andy fixed some long standing internet issues on both computers in our home
which made his visit worth his modest fee alone.
We recommend Andy and would call him again without hesitation.

This was an unusually difficult transfer since my old computer had completely died and Andy had to remove the hard drive and work directly from it.  This was also difficult since the hard drive, itself, was slow and tried to die in the process ... but he kept it going.
I was very impressed with Andy's professionalism and ability to help me understand what was going on. (Although he arrived an hour later than I expected, he stayed until the work was complete so it was not an issue.)  I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a computer!
Added note:  After submitting this review, I learned that  Andy was NOT late.  He works in time blocks.  And, he arrived well within the time block he had set aside for me.  I just was not aware of that.

I called Andy based on the reviews on Angie's List.  I did not want to call the geek squad because I had problems with them in the past.  Andy came to my home at a time which was convenient to me.  He asked me detailed questions about my computer, some of which I could answer.  He was able to diagnose the problem and gave me a firm price for repair.  He also told me he would put a free word processer program and a free security program on the computer.  He came back one week later and gave me a very clean, repaired computer.  He did everything he said he would.  I personally appreciate meeting someone in this service field who does know what they are doing, can explain what is needed and does not try to oversell. I have already asked him to look at another computer of mine.  Hopefully that one can be repaired, but if not, I trust Andy to tell me.

Andy arrived promptly.  He was knowledgeable and finished the work in a very timely manner.  He communicated everything clearly and was thorough in the information given.  I was extremely pleased with Andy's service and professionalism and I have already recommended him to friends.

Andy spent a great deal of time determining what was wrong with our computer only to come to the conclusion that it wasn't worth fixing.  He was very knowledgeable, thorough and honest in his approach to our computer issues.  He recommended us getting a new computer, explaing to us what we required in terms of processing speed, hard drive size, etc.  We didn't need the high end computer that we thought we needed.  Once we purchased the new pc, Andy backed up our old files and loaded them on the new computer and spend time explanining what he had done and what to expect in the newer version of Windows.  I would use Andy's services again with out question and refer him to anyone in a heart beat. 

Andy was very responsive.  Removed an old wireless card and got the new thumb drive working.  Updated my desktop which had been offline for months.  He was a great help.  We should have used in from the beginning rather than the Geek Squad.  Highly recommend.

Andy is truly amazing. I have a home business, and he takes very good care of me. I think his pricing is terrific, and he’s always been able to fix any issue I have. I think he is just great!
