Great, very happy with the workmanship

Salvador and his team were on time, very professional and patient with us . This was the third project they have done for us and we can’t say enough how lucky we are to find somebody friendly, responsible and detail oriented.

It went great from day one. SGM is a family (Salvador, Deena and Luis) run general contractor business that does great work. The architect, plumber, drywaller, electrician, carpenter, and laborers all did very good to excellent work. SGM was easy to work with and provided an excellent finished product at a reasonable price. Next year, when we do some more work, we hope to use SGM again.

Salvador came over the very same day to evaluate and price the job. It was scheduled to be fixed the very next day. It was done perfectly and efficiently. We would definitely hire them again. Very professional.

The job went perfectly. Everyday that the crew was supposed to be at our home, they were. There were no interruptions and the job was completed in 2 weeks as promised.

Salvador and his crew were excellent to work with. They were timely, responsive, and did great work. Prices quoted were also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

I can't say enough nice things about Salvador and his crew. I interviewed 6 different contractors and Salvador was the best! He was straightforward about pricing, easy to communicate with, reasonable, efficient, and held the work done to a high standard. He told me how long it would take and stayed on schedule. If I called with a question he always answered or got back to me quickly. When problems came up, he made sure I was aware and came up with options for me. If I ever have remodeling to do in the future I will not hesitate to call Salvador first!

I interviewed several contractors before hiring Salvador and SGM Construction. I chose him because he gave me real prices, was straightforward, shared all of the details, told me what to expect, and was extremely professional. The project had a lot of moving parts and Salvador managed to stay on schedule, constantly communicated with me, always picked up the phone when I called, and completed the entire project with skill and integrity. I highly recommend him for any project large or small! The next time I need any remodeling done, I will call Salvador.

We have been in our home for 23 years and it definitely needed more than a "face lift". I was so happy that Salvador was able to handle all of the remodel and that I didn't need to hire separate contractors for each specific job completed. His professionalism and most importantly the quality of his work was impressive. I would recommend SGM Construction to anyone wanting to make improvements to their home. I now have a brand new house, without having to move!! I feel very blessed to have found Salvador to do our remodel. I wish I could share more pictures, because so much was done, but I uploaded the max allowed.

It exceeded our expectations! Salvador was very professional and accommodating. He was genuinely interested in pleasing us. His crews were excellent craftsmen and very unobtrusive to have in our home. They were respectful and careful to keep the areas around their work clean and neat. Salvador obviously knows his field and had lots of great ideas and solutions to offer us. We will use him and his company for all future needs.

I have no complaints. It was in budget and transparent, the entire project was finished ahead of schedule and the work is gorgeous.

We told Salvador that once his workers started we wanted them to get the job done. We had a prior experience where a contractor took five months to do what should have been a six week job, so timing was important to us. Salvador and/or his subcontractors were here every day and each one of them was professional in their work and accommodating in making the changes we asked for after work began. Salvador was wonderful!!! This was by far the least stressful remodeling job we have ever been through, and we have been through many over the years. We would not hesitate to hire Salvador and SGM in the future for any remodeling or other construction needs that arise. Not only was SGM Construction the best contractor by far to work with, but his price was considerably cheaper than other bids we got, yet SGM did more work than what was outlined in the other bids. We felt the price was more than fair for the work that was done. We honestly could not be happier with the completed job. We LOVE our new master bathroom.

We needed to sell a rental house in Peoria but it needed to be totally updated. We also wanted a fast turn-around to take advantage of the selling season here in Phoenix area. The owner, Salvador, said they could start right away and gave us a completion date that met our timeline. We supplied the tile, cabinets and plumbing fixtures, along with the lights and fans. SGM's price included the demolition, paint, granite, labor to install all the tile, install cabinets, the plumbing and electrical labor, painting, and trash removal.

The project went beautifully. The company kept to its schedule. When Salvador discovered an issue or problem we were notified quickly and felt we always received good and common sense advice.  Communication was always good. The entire project finished within days of the estimate given at the start of work. Because the finished results were so good, we have sold house -within weeks of putting it on the market.

We also hired SGM to install new tile at our own residence, along with remodeling our shower and adding a backsplash to our kitchen. We are VERY pleased with that work, too! 

SGM's prices were competitive. The work performed was excellent. The project was completed on time. We would definitely hire SGM again.

The price above is for labor - we supplied the materials.  The price charged was what was quoted.
The bathroom is absolutely beautiful.  The workmanship was fantastic; I uploaded pictures to show the final product.  Everyone in the crew from the general laborers, tile workers, electrician and plumber were extremely careful in their work.  All workers were prompt, and cleaned up after themselves after each day of work.  The workers laid down paper in the walking areas to protect the floors in the remainder of the house.  Salvador replaced the non-functioning glass pane with block wall and a window that can open for additional ventilation. 
We removed the tub and created a larger walk-in shower.  The footprint of the shower is both wider and longer than the original tub/shower.  The shower has an over-sized rain shower head, a hand held shower, 2 niches and a bench. 
Salvador was also helpful with suggestions for material. Although the original decorative tile we selected for the shower was sold in the tile store with other bathroom tile, Salvador discussed some concerns about that particular tile in a wet area.  The big box store we purchased the tile from was not much help in answering our concerns, however, checking with the manufacturer and finding other reviews, we quickly realized that we made a poor choice.  We found a better tile (which was actually saved us a little money) that looks stunning with the marble tile we selected.
The one delay was due to the installation of the granite - and we had purchased this from another company.  We did not think to ask SGM about the granite for the bathroom.  We wish we had.  During the renovation, I decided to change the shower bench seat to granite instead of tile.  We had SGM install was a piece of granite for the shower seat to match the vanity counter top.  The price was reasonable, and was quickly installed. 
We would not hesitate to have SGM do other work in our home.

Salvador and his crew did a great job.  They showed up when they said they would, stayed on schedule, did an excellent job on the work, and kept things as clean as possible so we could live in the house while the tile work was being done.   Salvador was easy to work with and was always available when we had questions.  He was very accommodating when we asked to have a couple of extra things done as well.
I had several quotes done prior to hiring, and checked with the Registrar of Contractors on all companies I had quotes and/or referrals for.  SGM gave me a fair price for the work being done and had the best reviews of everyone I considered.

all the work was done in a timely period.  the cleanup was well organized and most appreciated.

They do excellent work with wonderful service. Salvador is right there to answer any questions you might have. I would recommend them to everyone.

Salvador was my 3rd estimate (only one off Angie's List).  I knew the others were clearly trying to take advantage of me.
Salvador was HONEST and a had a very qick response time, which was very helpful.   He patched and repaired my exterior drywall, then painted.....you would NEVER know there had been a repair and it's above the front door!  I HIGHLY recommend Salvador!

We contacted Salvador of SGM Construction to give me a quote to remodel our master bathroom. He was very prompt in responding to my request and was able to work with my schedule to give me the quote. We were asking to have our tiled sunken bathtub be demolished, raise it to floor level, install new bathtub, replace bath fixtures, tile the tub surround, retile the floor, install a vent fan and repaint.  Salvador's quote was what I expected.  He asked that we buy the bathtub, fixtures and tile.   This worked great since we were able to pick out exactly what we wanted.  Salvadore gave us suggestions on the sizes of tubs we could fit into our space.  He also told us how much tile would be needed for the walls and the floors.  He would provide everything else that was needed to complete the job.
On the day the demolition started, he put plastic over almost everything in the master bedroom to keep it clean.  He laid down paper on the wood floors for where the workers would be walking in and out.
Salvadore stayed in touch with us to tell us who and when the next crew of people would be coming in to take care of their part of the job.
Every single person that Salvadore had come to our house was courteous and very polite.  They were also very meticulous on what they did.  It was very obvious that they took pride in their work.  When each crew was done, they cleaned up any mess that had been made.  Salvadore would stop by after he crew had finished their work to make sure we  were happy with the work.
After everything was completed, Salvadore followed up with us to make sure everything was working properly.
We are very happy with the remodel of our master bathroom and we would definitely hire SGM Construction again for any remodeling project.

The work was smooth, very efficient crew, very please with the quality of the work and how they  delivered it.  My patio turns out in the way I wanted.
Salvador was checking daily the progress of the work and keep in touch with me to discuss and explain the details of the job daily and what   I could expect. Excellent communication.
I will be contact him in the near future for other projects. Im very happy with the results! Finally I found a serious company a Contractor you can trust!
