The first repairman showed up approx. 30 minutes after 5:00 and was here for approx. an hour and a half. He thought the problem was fixed (and so did I), but the next morning when I ran it, it did the same thing it was doing before the fix. I called Sears to get someone else back out that day and was told it would be another 6 days before they could. To me that was unacceptable. I was told I could not talk to anyone other than a supervisor on the phone (I went through 4 different women supervisors) and they were not cooperating. I could not find any other number to call or way to contact a higher authority. When I finally mentioned a lawyer, they managed to get someone out in 2 days instead. He managed to fix the machine and showed up on time - although the machine sounds terrible now when it is in the spin cycle. I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

We paid $199.00 for 5 appliances to be maintenanced. I was told the tech would be at my home between 10 am and 2 pm. He called around 2:20 pm and said he was on his way. He arrived at 3:10 pm. I could hear him in his car on a conversation with a woman. It had nothing to do with his job. He did not come to my door until 3:20 pm. Try to tell me that my water heater needed to be adjust. I know my hat water heater is set at 120 degrees. mY home is a licensed home and needs to be kept at 120 degrees. I had to tell him to leave it at the temp it was several times. He then asked me for a bucket. and then told me "I need to get my own". He di not leave my home until 5:20 pm.

Serviceman arrived within the 4 hour window given. Work took about 10-15 minutes. Cost was prohibitive unless had previous contracts which they tried to strong arm sell when making appointment.

Repair went well. The cost was highly exaggerated for a fan to be replaced : $ 347. I was also pushed to take the annual repair coverage plan at roughly $ 50.00 / month. Please, start to sell quality again, and people will not have to buy expensive extended guarantee coverages. Of course, this will drastically reduce the Sears income and profit !!

The person who came out did a very good job. They knew what they were doing and did it quickly and well. The only thing we had an issue with is that we have our dryer in a very confined space. This person insisted something be done to give the dryer more venting and more space. We have sense worked on that, but it is a really tough problem. They were really tenacious about that.

Not good at all. It took 5 visits (different technicians). 3 parts delivered all incorrect (2 identical parts, both incorrect, on the same day. On the 5th visit the technician finally fixed the problem. Each tech. expected payment. Then after all was finished and completed. We received a bill from a collection agency. I called several Sears numbers, but could not get a resolution. I was very upset with the service and will not use Sears again The first visit was June 27th Job completed August 17
