Heating and Air Conditioning Service
I had used Sea Air Inland in the past for several heating and cooling issues so I called him to help fix the heat pump this time in my home. They came out to our home and identified the leak but was unable to get the part within a reasonable time frame. He said it would 6 weeks before the part would be in. That was the first contributing factor into choosing another company as we were able to get the A/C fixed the next day. He then sent me a bill for $236.98 as a service charge which did not include the part. He quoted me an additional $800-$850 for installation and freon. I called and asked why the service call was too high and he said it is a flat rate per hour and that was the fee. I was able to get the pump fixed by another company for $800 including labor, freon and service charge.
