Technician: Tim Ledbetter - Was very courteous and professional.

Mr. Ledbetter confirmed with owner location for solar tubes.  Placed tarps on floor and over furniture.  With a small hole verified space was available in roof for tube placement.  Made perfect cuts and installed solar tubes as required.  Sealed roof flange once, place flange tape, and seal flange area again.  Cleaned up all debris from solar tube holes and removed from residence.  The installation of 3 solar tubes went as expected.  My roof is a flat roof.  As installation continued it was found that there was an original roof of plywood, tar and gravel, covered with a second roof of compound plywood, 3 rolls of roofing tar paper and elastic sealant as final layer.  This roofing layering created a very solid component to saw through.  Once the secondary roof layers were removed the original roof structure was much easier to cut and removed as a plug.  No adjustments needed to fit solar tubes as designed.

We used these guys a couple years ago and they were just as good this time. Did everything on time, as promised, which is sometimes hard to get around here. Cleaned up beautifully and the lights look great. Would recommend.

RJ Kraemer showed up on the date they were scheduled and right on time. The company owner did the install. He was very professional and was very fast. It's been just over a year and a half since the two fans were installed and both fans are still working perfectly. I have a tile roof and the solar portion of the fan body sticks up slightly above the roof line, but due to the placement of the fans on our roof, neither fan is noticeable from the street or from most locations in our yard. He did a wonderful job of fan placement. We've had several rain storms since the fans were installed and we've had no problems with our roof leaking around the fan installation location. I plan on having this company return in the near future to install a solar tube for additional light in our dining room. The previous owner of our home had two such solar tubes installed (by RJ Kraemer) and they add a lot of additional light into our home. I was impressed with the install job this company did with the solar tubes that were already here and would not hesitate to have them install a third solar tube. As for the price, RJ Kraemer informs you as to the exact cost of your install and equipment, so when they finish the job, there are no surprises. I highly recommend this company without hesitation.

I contacted RJ Kraemer via telephone based on an add I received in the mail. The woman I spoke to was very knowledgeable and helped me decide what kind and size attic fans I would need for the size of my home. She was also able to give me an exact price for the fans and installation right over the phone, which I found very handy and a refreshing change from the traditional - come out and look first and then make an estimate. I was given a date and an arrival time window for the installer to come to my home to do the work. The installer showed up on time and had everything he needed to do the work. He wasted no time installing the attic fans and was done in under two hours. His work was professional and the attic fans are working just as I expected. I noted right off that my A/C is not coming on as often as it had in the past and I noted that my home and garage were noticeably cooler than they were before the fans were installed. The product installed - Solar Star Attic Fans - are proving to be a high quality product and are performing as I expected. Only time will tell how mechanically dependable they are, but for now, they are working wonderfully, are whisper quiet (I have to look at them from one of the attic access points in my ceiling to tell if they are working due to their quietness), and they take no electricity as they are solar (when sun goes down they stop working as there is no battery to be concerned with). This company also installs solar light tubes and has installed two solar tubes on my home and I plan on having RJ Kraemer install one more solar tube on my home right after the first of the year. I have had a lot of experience with RJ Kraemer and will not only use them again in the future, but I would also recommend their services to my family as well.

He was very professional. We knew we wanted the solar tubes, but he had really good suggestions concerning their placement that we hadn't considered. He arrived on time - did all the work himself - did a great clean-up job - and was done in 4 hours. He explained the warranty and what paperwork to submit for a tax rebate. We're absolutely thrilled and are now considering putting more solar tubes in other rooms in our house! And, of course, we'll call R.J. Kraemer to do the work!

Billy arrived at the time he was supposed to. His company had called us 2 days before the designated date to confirm. Billy was very professional and indicated that he had installed Solatubes in our particular model throughout the neighborhood. The work was suppose to take 2 hours; he completed the job in 1 hour and 40 minutes. All surfaces were covered before he started cutting into the ceiling and everything was in s*** and span order when the job was completed. We were extremely pleased with the end result and love the light now flooding our utility room.
