Description of Work: If we had any idea what John Brill does - we could do it ourselves. We have 5 components (VCR, Blue Ray, Receiver, Turn Table and TV). When we bought a new TV we had John come and hook it up to everything else and program our Harmony Remote. I would trust no one else. What makes John indispensable is his very real willingness to take "help" calls after installation. If he cannot walk us through the "fix" over the phone he will come to the house and correct the problem. Usually, we pushed the wrong button or "horrors" have not read the owners' manuals.

 + -1 moreWe first learned of John Brill (Lucid Electronics) as he was a contract technician for a local (now defunct) company when a car radio, installed (by another technician), went into a 30 second loop, which we were forced to listen to for 4 hours as we drove through the Arizona desert on our way home. As we neared home, we called the Company and they called John. John called us and truly went out of his way to meet us as quickly a possible. In a few minutes John had shut the radio off. I know you are saying 'why didn't they remove the the fuse or turn off the car?and quot; or ??? We had tried everything. We even tried to just turn he volume down. Nothing worked. John disabled the radio. We made an appointment for John to come to our home and put the old radio back in the car. In addition, work that was done by the other technician, on our home theater, was not working properly. John diagnosed and repaired the problem. So, recently, we installed hard wood floors which required disassembling our entire home theater. We called John to reassemble the components. We call John. Period. In addition to completing the original work John is great about accepting questions by phone at a later date. He has walked me through hooking up a cable box for a neighbor. When I couldn't figure it out, John came to my elderly neighbor's home, fixed the problem and refused payment. We call John!
