Lavender's Day Spa

They told me the wrong time and then cut our appointments short. They did not know how to use their equipment and neither of us got steam because of it. They still made me pay full price.

I used a bunch of gift cards Lavender?s Day Spa, and had 5 left ? then got very sick and couldn?t use the remaining ones before the expiration date. I doesn?t understand why the spa wouldn?t honor cards now, because the rep I talked with said she could use them and confirmed they were there in the desk, but when another rep went to use them they weren?t there and she said the manager might have weeded them out. Additionally, the first person I had talked with left the company, so no one could go back and check with her.

Lavender?s said the information was cleared out of the computer, so they couldn?t do anything about honoring the cards. Additionally, when I tried to call them back to work things out, they started being nasty every time they learned it was me, they'd put me on hold for a long time, then hang up. On the third call they put me automatically into voice mail. I left a message, waited forever, tried calling again and was put on hold again. I called with a private number and they did answer - that's when I told them I'd be contacting Angie's List. I feel like they were stonewalling me, and were being rude. I can provide information from the doctor about the major surgeries and illnesses I was facing, but that didn't make any difference. I owned a business myself, and I would never treat a customer that way!

The experience was average.

I usually have Julie help me. I've been going there for a while and it's the best. Very relaxing. They always call and remind you that you have an appointment coming up.
