Not recommended. We hired Interiors by Thomas to remodel our bathroom shower. We paid a deposit of almost $4,000 for a total job price of about $19,000. They were a bit higher than other bids we received, but we went with them because they offered "bubble glass" for the shower--the others we received bids from did not offer bubble glass. Interiors by Thomas had a sample of the bubble glass in their showroom and my wife loved it. A few months went by and then a few weeks prior to the installation date, someone from the company contacted us and informed us that they no longer have access to bubble glass and we would need to come down and pick out new glass. I told them I would talk to my wife, but we would probably need to cancel then, as bubble glass was the only reason we went with them. (At this point we had already spent another $800 plus out of pocket on things like the shower head and controls that were not covered by the contract) Thomas then called and told me his supplier no longer carried bubble glass so we needed to pick out new glass. I told him I would talk to my wife but we would probably need to cancel then, as my wife really wants the bubble glass. I pointed out that I found several suppliers online that have bubble glass and he told me, without even seeing what I was referencing, that the glass I was seeing was different and I didn't know what I was doing. I said, well, we'll likely have to cancel then. He said, cavalierly, oh, you can cancel, but you won't get your deposit back. I told him there was no need to be a jerk about it. He then exploded, yelling over and over in the phone "Don't you call me that," Don't you ever call me that." I mean, the guy was literally screaming. So I told him, now you're being an a-hole and the way you are acting I would not want you touching my house. He then screamed "Your contract is canceled" and hung up. Literally minutes later he sent an email accusing me of threatening him and his workers, even though that never happened--it seemed to me to be a canned email that had no relationship to reality that he has likely used in the past to justify similar bad behavior on his part. They refuse to return our deposit, claiming that the deposit was just to reserve a spot on their schedule. Under their theory, they could say all of the materials we chose were no longer available and still keep our deposit, which is ludicrous. The contract they use requires that the parties first go to mediation before filing a lawsuit. I have requested mediation several times. They refuse, so now I'll be filing a lawsuit. Oh, and they had the gall to send me a "final bill" showing I still owed them money, supposedly for materials that they ordered but allegedly could not return. And the "final bill" notes that it includes "profit." I asked for a breakdown, and invoices from the suppliers for stuff that supposedly could not be returned. They refuse to supply it. So, unfortunately, I will be filing a lawsuit and we'll need to let a judge sort things out. In my opinion, be careful. If things go smoothly, these guys might be fine. But if they do not, you might be in for a rough ride.

Field crew did great work. A little difficult to co-ordinate service schedules, due to delays in office responses. Prices not cheap, but work excellent.

We were given a quote for the service of cosmetic repair, 2 coats of paint on the house, and 1 coat of paint on our concrete block fence. Thom told us exactly what needed to be done as far as repair and calking to our house. We also had some unseen repair work that we knew needed to be done. This work was discovered during the inspection before we purchased the house. Thom was very professional in his explanation of the quote, the materials that he recommended, and communication throughout the project. It was estimated that the job would take 5 days. The job did take 6 days because of the extensive calking as well as the second coat of paint that was applied to the concrete fence because Thom and the foreman did not like the way it looked. This coat of paint was applied at no extra charge. Interiors by Thomas is top notch! The quality of his work is exceptional. We are very happy with the work and look forward to using his service again.
Response from Interiors By Thomas
"Thank you! As explained there are many outfits that run around doing exterior painting. They come and go as quickly as they show for that first deposit check. I've watched many exterior paint contractors run through a house in as little as 1-2 days. Never taking time to really prepare the exterior for 2 complete coats of paint. Most of the time our paint sprayer doesn't even come out the first let alone the second day. My thoughts, why look for a cheap job on a investment that can carry a nice return. Look for quality at a affordable price when shopping for exterior painting. Thanks again for the trust in our work ethics."

Perfect! Walls and ceilings were in bad shape and Tom made sure everything was repaired prior to painting. It's like a new home, now!

The place had oak cabinets that either needed to be replaced or painted....we went with painting! We saved $$ and are totally pleased with the cabinets. I would recommend Interiors by Thomas for any project!

He has never failed us. I have used him many times. I have never had an issue. If we had any concerns, him and his son were here to answer our questions.
