I gave Susan a list of 12 requirements detailing my "perfect" home. I also gave her a price range/home type for me to consider buying - a home from a lower cost fixer upper to the top of my price range. Two requirements were non-negotiable and I told her the other 10 requirements were negotiable depending on what the trade-off would be. I also included a list of "pluses". Susan is well versed in the added requirements and costs in owning a home in Sun City. I met with Susan on a Saturday and she had a list of about 6 homes to view. As soon as I walked into the last home I knew it was mine. This home not only had the 2 non-negotiable requirments and 9 of the 10 pluses, it also had some "extras" I didn't consider. I had told Susan I wanted a home in a "walkable" neighborhood and I now live less than a mile from a recreation center, public library, and grocery stores. I most appreciate that Susan really did her homework and didn't waste my time. Although the paperwork involving the purchase of a home is tedious, time consuming, and lengthy, the process went smoothly and painlessly as possible due to Susan's keeping up on top of things. She kept me informed all along the way.
