We could not be happier with our new Comfortmaker AC, gas furnace, and top notch customer service! 1st AC unit they installed sounded like a freight train. Obviously a faulty unit. We could tell Howard was mortified, because he is a perfectionist. No worries, replacement unit installed the next day was whisper quiet! Howard always comes through. He is really an honest, ethical guy, & we could never trust anyone else with our HVAC or appliance service needs. This is a small, husband & wife run business, but they are HUGE on quality & customer satisfaction. 10 stars!

He was very knowledgeable and professionnel and told my tenant to not spend money on that fridge because it would be to expensive to repair and it as to be replaced.

Everyone was extremely helpful and seemed to care that I was having such an unusual issue.

I called and was promptly greeted and service scheduled for today. Serviceman could not have been anymore thorough, professional and overall the most pleasant service call I've had in my 60++ years.

They did a nice job. Our tenants were very happy with their work and professionalism.

We had a dryer in the garage that wasn't working. Another appliance company came and they said that it was possibly the motor and because that would be expensive to repair suggested we just buy a whole new set. Wet purchased a used set and after about a year that went out too. Found Howard's Heating/Air and Appliance on AL, and because it was a small independently owned company I wanted to give them a try. Mr. Howard was prompt, personable, and professional. Came fully prepared to do the work and never left until it was done. Gave me an honest assessment and checked other things just to be sure. Mr. Howard went above and beyond (came two other times but couldn't get the job done because of thing we had to take care of) and even did some things that we asked for that we're not in the original plan. From start to finish the experience was great. I will definitely use him again!

Scott (engineer) came out a couple times before the work started. He brought an iPad in and walked around the property to take a video/ show the installers exactly where to go and what to do. He then went into the attic and again gave specific instructions for the installers. It gave me peace of mind that he took the time to do that and tell the installers how and where to do everything the right way.

I had tickets to go to an event that night and I told them to come as early as possible because I could leave no later than 530pm. The boss sent two more people out to help the crew so that they could finish in time for me to leave. I thought that was amazing service and you can tell they really care for the customer.

They were professional, very neat and clean, respectful, and the unit in the attic actually looks like a piece of art. I would highly, highly recommend them.

They were excellent and I would recommend them to anybody. I chose them because I called them at 9:30 p.m. along with three others and they were the only one that was willing to come out that night to deal with the problem. The service performed was excellent.

Howard fixed what I asked him to do very quickly. Very pleasant experience.

He came out moved the washer and found out that it was unplugged. He moved the washer and plugged it in and I haven't had trouble since. He was very good, very kind and courteous. He knew what he doing.

Howard retuned my call promptly after contacting him on Angie's List site. He explained what needed to be done and what the outcome may be for the type of repair needed on this appliance. Apparently there was a flaw in the cable system pulley on this model. He ordered the part and repaired the door as soon as the part came in. He was professional and pleasant. Good experience and now I have an appliance as good as new.

When he realized that I was ill (my right kidney had failed and I was scheduled to have it removed on Friday) Howard went down  and picked it up that afternoon and it was installed before I went to bed that night. On one of the hottest days of the summer it only took about three hours to cool the whole house down. I have had him out one other time in Feb when that old unit  was acting funny, he made a slight adjustment and did not charge me a thing. He is now my go to guy for any problems with air/heat unit.

The property is tenant occupied; I received a call from the tenant on Sunday; was referred to Howard by my property manager.  I checked on Angie's list and found he had a good rating so I gave him a call.  He came out promptly and gave me an estimate to repair of approximately $1,000.  I called another A/C guy for 2nd opinion.  Both agreed on the problem so asked both for an estimate to replace the system.  Howard's quote was $4,200 + tax which was about $1,000 less than the other bid for comparable equipment.
Gave Howard the OK and he started work to remove old A/C on Tuesday and completed the new installation on Wednesday.  I am pleased with his prompt service.  Will use him again when needed.
