They were really good. It's just a little place in Lynnwood and when they say they're going to be there, they're going to be there. They're amazing. I'm kind of a tough bargainer and I look around to get the best price and the best buys, but out of all the other places I went to they beat everybody. The renters wanted to move in early and I was scheduled out a couple of days, but when I went back to Conklin's and asked if they could deliver it sooner it was not a problem. I also used them in my first house 32 years ago when I bought my first washer, dryer, stove, and refrigerator and they just took them out and put new ones in. One of the things that is so beautiful about that store is you can go buy replacement parts there and that's one of the reasons I like it and one of the reasons that the washer and dryer I had at the old house were there for so long. My ex-husband could always replace the parts on it and get the parts there.

Overall, it went very well. Rick was on time and knew immediately what was wrong with the dishwasher (a faulty water pump). He ordered the part and came back a few days later and fixed it. I paid a little more, but they are worth it in my opinion. I have used them in the past and they're always on time and very knowledgeable.

The repair person called to confirm the appointment, arrived on time and completed the plumbing work to my satisfaction. He had to make a a couple trips out to his vehicle for tools and parts, but did not charge me for the additional time.

I specifically worked with Rick. I haven't used anyone else. He is really great. You can buy small parts from older appliances. They have a lot of stuff that they'll order you. They can also come out to fix things. They also sell new appliances. Rick is really fair, and he doesn't overcharge. He tells you whether it's worth fixing or not, which I really appreciate. I have used him for probably 15 years.

Well besides the bate and switch, and insult on my engineering backgroud, I would not reccomend them. Buyer beware. I miss Monark in North Seattle. I also heard Judd and Black have good appliances. Please buy with caution. It was a bad experience.

Conklin is a well respected company. They do not mind sitting down with you while you ask questions. I have stopped by there many of times and they do not mind taking the time to explain things to you even if you do not purchase an item.

We got off to a bad start; Conklin called us early am and said - their words - that the serviceman would call as he left the previous call. So I let our middle aged overweight golden retriever out on a leash in the front yard. And no call as the serviceman drove up. Our dog loves everyone except refrigerator repairmen, and no, she would not come when called. I finally got her inside/corralled. But the promised call would have eliminated this problem. The service man quickly diagnosed the problems, and made the appliance serviceable again.

This was a very satisfactory experience. This was the fourth place I had visited to gather information and view appliances, so I had a good idea of what I wanted. Conklin s had a wide variety of brands and models to choose from, including some basic models to the very high end ones. I was helped by Al Adkins who listened carefully to what my needs were, made suggestions, and answered all my questions. I explained exactly what I wanted, and he recommended the Frigidaire Gallery line. Al was very knowledgeable and had a helpful, low-key approach. He discussed the pros and cons of some comparable appliances. I left that day with a printed estimate of the appliances I had selected. I returned a second time with my husband who also had specific questions regarding installation requirements, appliance dimensions, and product reliability. We ordered the appliances and arranged for delivery and installation. Conklin's was willing to work with our delivery and installation schedule. We received a call back confirming the delivery date and the contact information on their installation specialist so we could discuss special requirements directly with him. We called the installer who was extremely helpful. We made arrangements for installation of the stove(it needed a new outlet installed as the old stove had been hard wired), the dishwasher, and the range hood. On the day of delivery, we received a call letting us know that the truck would arrive between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The truck arrived at 12:50 p.m. Sid and Rudy brought in the new appliances, hooked up the refrigerator, and put the stove in place. The dishwasher and range installation was scheduled to occur within the week. Installation went well, and we are very happy with our purchases and the service we received from Conklin Appliance World.

Repairman showed up on time and was very friendly. He went right to work on the fridge. He seemed very honest and helpful. He charged me a reduced rate because he did not perform a repair. I did buy a new fridge but not from Conklin. The only reason I didn't buy one from them is that I wanted a Whirlpool which according to Consumer Reports, has the lowest repair rate. I guess its hard to be happy about paying someone to tell you that you need to buy a new fridge. They are so expensive, its just depressing. Such is life, LOL. This is really the only reason I rated them a B on price, though I greatly appreciate the reduced service call rate I paid.

The time and date commitment made by Conklin's was not met and not even a feeble apology was offered. When the installers gouged the bathroom floor moving the washer and dryer into the utility room, there was again not even a perfunctory apology when my wife called the office to complain. When I called back to ask about some compensation to defray the cost of having the floor repaired, I was told that what happened couldn't possibly have happened and what we had been told couldn't possibly have been said. It was one of the weirder conversations I have ever been a part of. Again there was no apology and I was informed that my wife and I should have "known" what needed to be done to protect our floor during the installation. I wasn't sure exactly what was meant by that.

We called Conklin and they helped us locate the necessary part and came out as soon as we got the part the next day. The repairman stopped by our house on his way home so that we would not be too long without a refrigerator. The part was installed, the refrigerator working, and the repairman on his way within 15 minutes. We were thrilled with the service that we received from Conklin. Their phone service and repairman were wonderful. Overall, the repair cost about half of the price quoted by the original repair company, including the original company's diagnostic service charge.

CONNKLIN APPLIANCE SENT OUT A VERY NICE SERVICE MAN THE NEXT DAY. HE QUICKLY DIAGNOSED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. SINCE THERE WAS TIME LEFT ON MY SERVICE CALL, HE ALSO GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE ON A STOVE MALFUNCTION.

WE'VE USED CONKLIN BEFORE, FOR OUR APPLIANCE REPAIR WORK AND THEY ALWAYS DO A GOOD JOB. THEY ARE ALWAYS TIMELY AND ABLE TO HANDLE THE JOB NO MATTER WHAT THE APPLIANCE. THIS TIME THEY REPLACED THE LEVER FOR ICE CUBES OR CRUSHED ON OUR REFRIGERATOR MAKING EVERYONE HAPPY IN OUR HOUSE AGAIN.
