Chip Doctor does business in a parking lot along the mail street on town. We had been out for the day and a rock hit our windshield, leaving a sizable chip in the glass. On our way home we found Chip Doctor and drove in to his location and he immediately greeted us. We showed him the chip we'd just received and he said he could take care of it. We didn't even have to get out of the car. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and cost $25. The repair looks good - not completely erased, but much much smaller and barely visible. He provides a lifetime warranty on the repair. We are very pleased and would highly recommend Chip Doctor.

Since I'm extremely chemically sensitive, I made an appointment for a friend to take my car to The Chip Doctor. However, I understand an appointment is not necessary. The Chip Doctor will come to you as well. The repair work required about 20-25 minutes to allow for the car's motor to cool down and because the sky was overcast that day. I am so very pleased with the repair work he did. In addition, he saved me from getting a new shield which is a very involved, 3 month process for someone with chemical sensitivities.
Description of Work: Repaired 8" chip/crack in my 2006 Ford Focus' windshield caused by passing truck a few weeks earlier. The Chip Doctor is the only local auto glass man who would repair a crack over 6" in length. I understand, from his other customers, he can repair up to a 15" crack in the car's windowshield. The Chip Doctor is insured and accepts insurance. Best to obtain necessary information , from your insurance company , before repair work. I found him to answer any questions I had with professional ease.
