Shorty'S Enterprises

Everything went smoothly.

We called Shorty very early that morning and he arrived within the hour. He identified the problem almost immediately.

Condensation had built up in the outside pipes and had frozen. Shorty insulated them and we soon had heat. We have used and will continue to use Shorty's Enterprises.

23 days after paying to have my evaporative cooler serviced and put into service for the season, my cooler quit cooling. It was evident to me the cooler pads were not getting watered and therefore the unit was not cooling. Upon investigation, Shorty's Enterprises determined the cooler's "Spider Arm" was clogged and in need of cleaning. Just 23 days prior I paid $76 to have the unit serviced and cleaned. This service included cleaning the spider arm. It is obvious the crew did not do a good job the first time they were at my house or the Spider Arm would not be totally clogged only 23 days later. The fact that Shorty's crew failed to perform the services as paid for the first time did little to influence Shorty's Enterprises from charging me another $55.00 to correct their incompetent work from before. I have used these guys for years with good results, however, this is unacceptable.

The work was accomplished in a timely manner. The crew was courteous and pleasant. The only minor issue was the lack of attention to detail in cleaning up after the work was completed. The crew did clean up after themselves, however, the clean up was not very thorough.
