Immedietly noticed the car had a lot more power, ran really well. Very Smooth.
Since a majority of my issues were with leaks, I was asked to bring the car in sometime the following week so they could check all the fluids and top anything off that may have settled in. I have had LOTS of work done on my cars over the years in a great many places and until I started to take my vehicles to AAand RR I have never been asked to stop back so something could be checked once it was broken in a bit.
I live a good 35 to 40 miles from this business and while there are quite a few auto service and repair businesses between here and there, I would sooner pay a tow truck to haul my car down to Danny and his crew than let someone else get under the hood. I am not exactly a trusting soul but have been using this business for the last couple of years an no longer bother even shopping around for estimates. I know I am going to get a fair price, honest work and a great running, reliable vehicle.
"We are sorry to hear that our services were not up to your expectations. . We do our best to fix the original complaint of what failed and not try to sell you into repairs that we don't for see at that time. We valued you as great customers and again are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our services. We can only hope that you have found another shop that has met your expectations and we are sorry to have lost you as a customer."
Five days later, my daughter attempted to drive the car to Phoenix to see a hockey game. She was on the other side of Tucson going 75 miles per hour when she heard what sounded like a chain being drug down the road. Then her gear shifter started shaking violently in her hand. She pulled over and realized that a bolt had fallen almost completely out of a bracket holding the transmission in place (she could have been seriously injured). She called Danny, but he said there was nothing he could do until after five o'clock. He didn't even offer to send a tow truck, so she attempted to fix it herself by jacking up the car and tightening the bolt by hand with no luck. Fortunately, a man pulled over about an hour later and tightened the bolts (the one next to it was also loose) with an adjustable wrench. She gave the man $40 for helping her out. She drove back from north of Tucson to Sierra Vista, AZ going 50 miles per hour with her flashers on because she no longer had any faith that her car would actually make it back. At least a mechanic at Arizona Auto and Radiator Repair stayed to assist her with and quot;Lock-Tite'ingand quot; the bolts when she returned. I'm no mechanic, but If the bolts had been tightened in the first place, it seems highly unlikely they would have fallen out with less than 100 total miles of driving. I suppose putting LockTite on the bolts was about all they could do at that point. Needless to say, she never made it to her hockey game!
After three attempts at getting it right, the gear shifter is still not in its correct position and there are wires hanging out from under the center console next to the gear shifter. My daughter wants to take it back there to give them one more chance to finally get it right, but I've had my fill with them. I suppose if you need radiator work done, you'll be OK using Arizona Auto and Radiator Repair. If you have anything more serious than that, take it to reputable shop!!!
"We were and are very and truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused your family. We will not deny that you had to bring the vehicle back for our inaccuracy of repairing it correctly the first time. We can only say that we are human and we made a mistake and are not perfect in any way. We are honest people and admit to our mistakes and go out of our way to correct it and stand up to our work. You personally may have not been aware that Danny offered to go with a trailer and pick her up to get her back to Sierra Vista as a tow truck would have taken about the same amount of time and she called back shortly after advising that someone stopped and helped her and that she was going to drive it back to Sierra Vista, so we made sure a technician was available after hours to help her and look over the vehicle. If we truly didn't care about our customers, we could have advised you that we would look at it the next business day but we didn't! Danny came in on a Saturday away from his family to accommodate you, because we care! I called to follow up with you to see if everything was okay, again because we truly care. We made every attempt to make things right, we were very apologetic; we paid for the tickets for the hockey game that your family was unable to attend do to the breakdown of the vehicle. We are so thankful to the person that stopped and helped her and we are most thankful to God that she made it back to Sierra Vista safely as that is what was most important. We could only have hoped that you would have been more understanding and had it in your heart to see that we are good and honest people who were doing everything possible to correct the situation. We know and God knows that we tried and regret loosing you as a customer."
