Auto Service
Dropped vehicle off @ 9:45 AM for a 10:00 appointment. Pull up with the car running. No one was at the service station. Numerous employees walked by but no one stopped by. They really missed the mark on customer service. You would expect someone to come to the car, and say, "let me contact the service mngr. for you....or let me get someone to assist". Instead they all headed to the donut box and walked off. After 10 minutes, someone came. He assured me the work would take 1 hour. I told him I would return to pick up the car and would not require a shuttle to pick me up. I returned 2 hours later only to find out that the repair work still was not started. At that point the manager got someone on the job and in 15 minutes the work was done. On previous routine maintenance jobs, I have experienced excessively long wait times. On a positive note, the dealership informed me that there was an software enhancement available on the vehicle's computer system, and they offered to run it. There was no charge for the latter.
