He did a great job. He bought the primer and sealant for the job, and over a period of 5 months from the date shown came by to put two coats of sealer on all of the furniture. There was a period of time in there when he was unable to perform the work, but finished the job as soon as he was able.

We were in the process of moving and had a number of handyman type tasks to be performed. I met with Roger and found him to be just the type of handyman we were looking for, he is down-to-earth, calm and a genuinely nice guy. At the end of our meeting, when he told me his rate was $50 an hour I balked a little as I had seen his rate listed at $35, he said that must have been a long time ago. I was aware that most handymen in Sedona charge $20-$35 an hour but I decided he would probably be fast and accurate which would be worth the extra money.
Roger started with the easier tasks of light removal and replacement and I noticed we was slower than I anticipated, when it came to removing the shelf and reattaching it he seemed baffled and needed to call someone for advice. I have worked on a number of re-models, my own and with clients, and have a sense of the work and difficulty and time necessary to accomplish projects. We had no problem with his need to research how to brace the shelf and what hardware he would need, etc., none of that would have been an issue but when the invoice came for his work he charged us nearly $800 for work that should have cost around $400 even at $50 an hour, it was about 8 hours worth of work. For the $50 rate we expected high quality work completed rapidly, instead it was slow with marginal quality.

Roger responded right away to my phone call. We met at Home Depot and purchased materials. The cabinet door took a week to make but he put it in as soon as it was ready.
