Biddle Outdoor Center

First quick note on the dog run we hired Biddle Outdoor Center to put in (hired in August 2011 for this as well).  We gave Greg Biddle a date that we were moving our dogs into our home in March 2012 and the dog run was not complete when we arrived.  We had to keep all five of our dogs in our home with no place to run for the days it took them to complete it despite having seven months notice.
In the beginning we were very excited.  We wanted to support the local community we were moving into so our realtor recommended Biddle Outdoor Center to design and build our custom above ground approximately 35,000 gallon pool.  The quoted price was very expensive, but Greg Biddle assured us it would be done in three months and because we wanted to trust him, we accepted the high price and did.  That was our first mistake.  Permits and licensing took about two months, which is fine, that is not Biddle's fault, so we extended the deadline to five months.  Without going into myriad awful details, Greg Biddle constantly stated deadlines when everything was going to be done and could not meet any of them.  We have a log of 12 deadlines for milestones to be complete that he did not honor.   He was constantly begging for checks before items that were supposed to be done were complete.  It took ten months to complete our pool.
We wish that was the end of the story, but sadly is it not.
This last year, over the winter, the pipes within our pool broke, leaking water beginning in December 2012.  When looking historically at Sedona's climate, the temperatures experienced this last winter were not uncommon so we can only attribute this to the pool not being built to handle the normal climate of Sedona.  On top of this, when notified the pool was leaking, he did not take immediate action.  It took five months.. yes there is no typo there.. five months to get him to fix the leaks.  In the meantime, our water bill went up to three times its normal use.  He assured us he would reimburse us for the water lost from the leaks, but he did not carry through on it.  He also told us he would provide the salt for our system since the leak was causing all our salt to leak out.  He did not carry through with this.
We have numerous faux rocks they made as part of our organic looking pool.  The material they used is cracking all over.  They came out and fixed some of it but we can tell there is much more cracking apart.  We have absolutely no faith that Biddle will take responsibility for his faulty work and fix anything.  We are exhausted dealing with this man.
It is our highest recommendation that if you are considering building a pool with Biddle Outdoor Center, either go into it knowing it was take more than three times longer than he quotes and that he will not honor his deadlines or go someplace else.  If we had it to do all over again, we would go with one of the big builders out of Phoenix.
