It went well. My car has more power than it has ever had before.

Made an appointment for a simple oil change of a VW New Beetle, which they said they can do no problem. Three days after phoning for the appointment, the car went in in the morning. Was told that it should be ready that day. When 4:00 rolled around,
I had to call them for an update. I was given an excuse, that they were trying to diagnose a dummy light that was on, and that the car would have to stay until tomorrow, and I'd be given a call to let me know when the car would be ready for pick up. Tomorrow came and went until 4:00 when I had to call them again, expecting to hear that the car is ready, but why didn't they call me?? Another excuse that they're still trying to figure out the light. The third day, I called for an update, and the desk woman said she'll call me back. This happened 3 times that day, and she never called me back. So at 4:00 (an hour from when they close) I went to the shop to get my car, and found out that nothing had been done to it! Oil never got changed, and it just sat there gathering dust, while I kept getting lies from the desk person about lights on, and calling me right back - Not once did she. I asked why my oil hasn't been changed, and she said that they don't have a hoist, and are waiting for one to be delivered and it hasn't gotten there yet. After the car being in their shop for 3 days, I took it home and went to the local oil lube and had it done while I waited - just 25 minutes!
The reason I took the car to Anderson's is because they do quality work, and they've done me good for the past 2 years with both my vehicles, so I wanted to give them the business. But I had a problem with having my car kept for 3 days, and being fed lies and getting the run around, instead of just being truthful and honest, returning my calls as promised, and tell me that they don't have the capacity to get under a VW to do an oil change.
They do quality work, but if you have your repair/service done here, don't be in a hurry. Other than this recent scenario, I have nothing else negative to say about Andersons. They're good folks.
