Vet To You/Veterinary House Calls

It was great, vet was competent, nice and my cat had his exam at home without the stress of taking him to vet by car to vet place.

Dr. Gilchrist and Alex showed up on time for the appointment. They checked out the cats and gave them their exams and shots. It went flawless and our kitties were relaxed and did very well in spite of getting shots and having strangers examine them. The whole process went smooth and we were very impressed with the whole process. The cost was almost the same as our original vets office visit without ANY of the stress to us or our cats. We will effeminately be using Dr. Gilchrist again for our future appointments.

Thank God we found Vet to you! Dr. Gilcrest and his assistent are just great! My cats are extremely difficult to take to the regular vet office. It was always an ordeal!! Having a mobile vet that is professional and trustworthy is such a relief! I have tried another mobile vet in the past and was very disappointed. We will always use Vet to You!!

Holly, my 3 1/2 pound Yorkie has had many visits to the vet over the years. She always came away from the experience very stressed. However, I don't think that Holly still realizes that she had her check-up/vaccination yesterday. Dr. Gilchrist and his tech, Alex Hintz, arrived a couple minutes early, found a spot on the carpeting to sit and started their examination of Holly (weight, teeth, eyes, ears, heart, and body). She was having a great time going back and forth between all three of us. She was basking in the attention. When it came time for the shot, she didn't even flinch. If Holly could talk, she would tell you that she has found her new vet!

Our nearly 19 year old cat had taken a turn for the worse with his health a few days ago. We kept a close vigil around him, and attempted to make him comfortable, but after three days of not eating and barely drinking, it was clear his time had come but that he needed help to make the journey. Dr Gilchrist and his technician, Alex, responded immediately for us. Once Dr. Gilchrist had made his examination, and agreed with us that euthanasia would be the recommended course of action, he helped us through an extremely rough time. Our beloved cat was treated with the ultimate dignity, and Dr. Gilchrist ensured that he was never in any pain or discomfort. These moments are never easy, but working with Vet to You made our experience as gentle as possible. We're very grateful for Dr. Gilchrist and Alex, and would not have wanted to go with any other veterinarian.

My cat Ecco, who was almost 19 years old, had gotten weak and thin and stopped eating for the most part. It was a difficult time, and we pretty much knew that she wasn't going to get better. I called Dr. Gilcrest several times during the last couple of weeks - ready one day, not the next. He was extremely compassionate and responsive. When the time came, he came over with his assistant, did an examination on Ecco and determined that she was indeed failing - that her kidneys were shrunken, which was age related and treatment would not likely extend her life with any quality of life. He gave me time to think about it, and when I gave the word, he gently put her to sleep. He tenderly wrapped her up and took her away and took care of the cremation then delivered her ashes to me two weeks later. It wasn't easy, but he was so kind, and so sympathetic - I couldn't imagine her departure being any more calm, and his reassurance meant the world to me. He made sure that I felt OK with the decision I had made.

THE PRICE LOOKS HIGH BUT THAT WAS FOR 3 DOGS SO ITS ONLY ABOUT $100 PER DOG WHICH IS VERY REASONALABLE THAT INCLUDED SHOTS, EXAM AND NAIL CLIPPING AS WELL AS BORTATELLA. TRY THIS MOBILE VET! YOU'LL BE AS THRILLED AS I AM!
