They fixed my lamp exactly as promised, and had it finished earlier than predicted. They initially said that due to the current workload in the shop it might take 10 days - 2 weeks, but they called me within 1 week with the completed job.  Since I didn't have a clue how to fix it, I'm grateful to pay someone who does know and can do it correctly.

WOW WOW WOW!  Not only does Valley Light Gallery have a huge variety to choose from, they are amazingly helpful.  But most of all their PRICES are better than what you can get by shopping on the internet.  I've yet to find a retailer who can/will beat internet prices, but we got a smokin' deal on the lights we purchased.  If they don't have the exact fixture you're looking for, they have racks of catalogs you can browse.  They are SO helpful & will copy pictures out of the catalogs for you to take home.  They also rigged up a sample light for us to take home & try, and they recommended appropriate bulbs for our needs.  It's a great, casual place to shop where you don't feel as though you're in a snooty Scottsdale establishment.  Instead I felt like I could just hang out with these folks.  Knowledgeable, helpful, casual, great prices. Amazing!

I brought a lamp in for rewiring and possible replacement of the on/off dimmer switch. I was helped immediately at the service desk and had a clear conversation with the person who would be doing the repair. The lamp was ready one week later. The labor charge for the rewiring was $17.50 and the balance of the bill was for parts. Having worked on another lamp myself, I was amazed at how reasonable the charges were. Great experience overall and I highly recommend Valley Light Gallery for repairs. They also have a huge selection of lighting of all kinds.

I purchased two outdoor light fixtures from another store with "odd" bulbs. When the bulbs burned out, I went to Valley Light Gallery with the originals, asking if they had similar bulbs. They did, but when I inserted the bulb, the light didn't work. They offered to call the manufacturer to see why. Not only did they call the manufacturer, they got back in touch with me, explained the situation, made sure I was taken care of, ordered the special bulbs for me, and generally went the extra mile to help me when I didn't even buy my lamps from them. Every time I've been in the store, these people have been fabulous. I highly, highly recommend them for either lighting purchases or repairs. These folks KNOW what customer service is!

My experiences with Valley Light Gallery have always been positive. They do a good job on repairs for what seems like a fair price. Also, they are able to create attractive lamps from things you bring in and clearly take an interest in going the extra mile to make them nice. The time we had them install ceiling fixtures, everything went smoothly and they even came back and lowered one fixture at no charge after we decided it had been hung too high. They have a nice selection of reasonably priced, attractive lighting fixtures in their store.
