Top Job Landscaping Inc

In searching for a good weekly landscape service, I thought we had found them.  The company, however, did minimal service (grass cutting and blowing) and everything else was extra.   Their general services weren't even good.  We have built up leaves in various sections of our yard, which for whatever reason were never done.

Top Job requires that you sign a contract that gives them 30 days notice.  They did not give me any notice when they quit.

I also have had estimates for new gardeners.  To clean up a yard that was supposedly being maintained by Top Job is going to cost my at least $500.  In addition, Top Job was maintaining my sprinkler system.  Estimates to get the sprinkler system working are another $300.

We hired these people for yard improvement and maintenance in Scottsdale, Arizona. They promised great performance, to always be onsite, including the owner, to put our acre+ desert property back in great shape and keep it looking terrific. It had been neglected. Their monthly fee was at the higher end, but if they delivered as promised we figured it would be well worth it. We paid them thousands to install new sprinkler lines and and paid them alot each month for maintenance. The owner did not appear on the property to oversee the work each week as promised. The water lines were neglected costing us hundreds of dollars in unnecessary water bills, a tree lost its water and almost died, visible to anyone, yet neglected. When sprinkler heads broke they were not fixed quickly leaving gushers of water in inappropriate spots. We complained regularly, were ignored, and when we finally cancelled their service they charged us for an extra month of doing nothing, (we had signed an agreement that required this payment, so, of course we paid it) but it took alot of nerve to actually collect the month's pay for nothing, when they had done so much harm to our property. Definitely a company to avoid.
