Description of Work: The service man came to my home to examine and diagnose my 100+ year old German Black Forest grandfather clock (Lenzkirch). He oiled and get it running while in my home and with just a couple of adjustments which he coached me in doing, the clock is running smoothly and accurately again. His recommendation was that I have it taken into the shop to be thouroughly reconditioned. |The servce man put up with my close attendance and many questions, answering them to my satisfaction. He was the first to reveal to me the origin of the clock and attest to its value. It had been a gift from my parents when they returned from a tour of duty in Germany. I was very pleased.

Description of Work: The Clock Doctor owner is an acquaintance and the shop is about 5 minutes from home. I stayed right with the person who came, who was punctual, polite, accommodating to my many questions and yet purposefully examining and oiling the clock. The clock has run well and continues to keep perfect time once we made two slight adjustments after 24 hours and again after about 36 hours.
