They actually came out to the house and fixed the grandfather clock and took the cuckoo clock with them. They were very professional. They did an excellent job. They explained everything that they were doing. I was very interested in how they did everything. They reset the phase of the moon and what we had on the grandfather clock. It was just a very experience altogether.

Not well at all. They kept my clock all summer and i had it in and out of there a half dozen times. when i finally did get it back i had to take to another clock repair service to resolve the additional issues they caused. It looks like there is no team work or cooperation. the one guy who serviced my clock obviously never determined the correct diagnosis and the rest of the staff just watched him fail.

"WOW you are the only one to write a negative review. If you would tell me who you took it to I will call them to see what was done wrong. At I price of $65.00 not much was done with it. l will refund the $65.00 if we failed to fix it BUT at that price it was maybe a reoil only and it probably needed more which you didn't want to do."

He came out and explain every detail of the clock provide us instructions on how to set and maintain the clock. We had questions a week later and we called him and he returned our call the same day and helped us.

They had it running, but when I got home and set up, it wouldn't start. When I took it back to them, the same thing happened again. After I took it to a different shop, I found out the pendulum was not hung right and the clock had been over wound.

"We are sorry for your trouble with the clock. If the pendulum was put on wrong, that would have been done at your house, because you should not travel with it on. Also if a other shop said you over wound it, that is a lie. You can not over wind a clock, it is designed to work on a full wind. If we can make this right let us know. Thank you."

Clock Doctors are very knowledgeable and I have used them in the past to service my grandfather clock, which is over 20 years old and my cuckoo clock. They were on time, professional and the service was excellent. The service I received exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of clock repair. I had a small problem about a week later and the gentlemen helped me over the phone to solve the problem.

Our clock stopped working a few months ago. I really like the clock and didn't want to replace it. I bought a kit at a craft store and tried to fix the clock myself, but instead just bent the hands on the clock and couldn't get it to work. I'm so glad The Clock Doctor could fix it, and it only took about 20 minutes - they fixed it while I waited. I was very happy with the work.
