Terri's Consign & Design

Description of Work: Terri's Consign & Design is no longer doing business in the Phoenix area.

Description of Work: I entered into a contract to consign dining room furniture on Feb. 19, 2009. I paid $80.00 for them to take the furniture to Terri's to sell on consignment. One piece sold in March and the secons piece sold in May. According to the contract they were to post the sale on the last day of the month of sale and process the mailing the next month. I contacted Terri's to inquire about the delay for payment and was told that due to "financial difficulties" they could not send me the money for the sale of my furniture. I was never contacted by anyone at Terri's to inform me of the delay and when I called I was told that I could not talk to a manager because they have no authority for financial matters. All that was offered was an e-mail to corporate headquarters. The phone representative was rude and could care less about helping me get in contact with anyone who could answer my questions. I had previously used Terri's without incident, but will never again consign with that company. If I had known about not getting money for the furniture I would have donated it myself to an organization in need. I paid Terri's to take my furniture and sell it. They sold the furniture and have not given me any indication when I will receive payment.
