Pool and Spa Servicing
I have used Swimming Pool Warehouse several times for pool pump repairs, filter installation and teardowns and acid washes. They do good work and their rates are very reasonable. However, they are always busy, likely due to the limited number of repair techs available -- Daryl usually does my repairs. On average, it's about two days between my call, and when they get out to make the repair. I usually leave my gate open for them, they make the repair, and mail me the bill, or call me for a credit card. If you have an emergency, and you need your pool worked on that day, this is not the company to call. However, if it can wait, or it's maintenance that can be scheduled ahead of time, they are tough to beat, on both quality and price.

Pool and Spa Servicing
Worst service experience of my life. Each time I've called for service, they've given approximate day (not exact day, & no time estimate) for a service call, then haven't come. When I call back, they expect me to know (a) who answered the phone at the office; (b) what form(s) that person completed; (c) whether the office assigned the call person (& to whom). On the most recent, I had to leave & agreed on work to be done. They didn't leave a bill as promised, & didn't call me afterward as promised to take my credit card #. A week later, an anonymous male caller left an angry voice mail claiming that I owed him money & asked if I was ready to 'settle this debt.' He left no name, business name, or number. I called the number from my caller ID log, & it was Pool Warehouse. I paid the bill in full, but reminded him that I'd asked to have an itemized bill left at the house, & had him read me a list of the work done. That list included the pressure relief valve. They had removed the valve, but did not replace it, which resulted in a major water leak from my pump. I called every day for over a week asking them to correct this. They made repeated promises to come out, but failed to show up. Each morning, I would call again, & they would claim that it was the first call they'd received from me. Requests to have a supervisor or owner call me when unanswered. One person at the office, who refused to give a name, gave me a cell number to the supervisor, & I left messages each day for him, as well. After several days when he finally answered his phone, he claimed that he'd been calling me & leaving messages that I had not answered. I explained to him that I'd kept my phone with me at all times in anticipation of his call, & no call had been received, & nothing was on the incoming call log for the phone. He accused me of lying. I told him repeatedly not to have the service man respond without calling me first so he would not enter the yard & face a German Shepherd (who will bite). He ignored these repeated instructions, later calling to tell me that the guy was in my yard & that the part was not missing & there was no leak. Terrified that my dog would see him & bite him, I insisted that he go outside until I could make sure the dog was indoors, & he kept saying that there were no dogs at the house. As it happened, he wasn't even at my house! After more than 20 calls where I'd provided my name, address, & phone number, they'd given the service man someone else's information & sent him to a strange house! They sent him to my house, but he got confused & was going to replace the pressure gauge rather than the missing valve (where there was an obvious leak). I had to teach the man the difference between a gauge and a valve! He then changed what he'd told me before & said they hadn't changed the valve or charged me. When I told him I had detailed phone logs, notes, & a witness to conversations, he agreed to replace part. Owner will not return phone calls.

Pool and Spa Servicing
Very pleased with the company. Erv, the repairman, arrived as scheduled; informed me of the possible problems after checking the pump and motor, and went about replacing the motor and testing the water feature. The only reservation I have, which is principally my fault, is that the quality of the replacement motor was never discussed during the original call and discussion of the price quote. I just don't know if the A.O. Smith replacement motor is of a quality comparable to the original equipment.
