 + -1 moreWe had 14 of us in the class with a total of 7 dishes to prepare, so we paired up and each team of 2 prepared one of the dishes. A combination of vegetarian, pork, beef and tofu dishes were prepared and after complete, we had a buffet style setting where white and red wine was served and everyone had a chance to sample everything prepared. Linda was awesome and she had two assistants, Pat and Pat who also assisted the cooking teams with answering questions and washing pots, pans and utensils.
Description of Work: We attended the "Wok Everyday" class from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on April 25, 2013. The owner, Martie Sullivan welcomed us to Sweet Basil and provided the introduction to our instructor, Linda Martin. We were also told about the 10% discount on any products purchased in the store that evening. Linda walked us through the menu, item by item speaking about the various ingredients and how to best cut the veggies and protein. Iced tea and water were made available throughout the evening for participants. The course was easily and "A" but I thought the price of $55 per person or $110 for two of us was on the "high" side. Nonetheless, it was a fun and entertaining evening and I will definitely return for another class.

 + -1 moreThey had all the cooking equipments like pans and everything else. I made some five or six different things. It was fun. They were professional and it was a useful experience. They gave a lot of information and it was a nice environment. The prices were fair.
Description of Work: I have taken my three cooking classes at Sweet Basil Gourmet ware.
