Bonded & Insured Residential and Commercial Contractor that can sub-contract under a general or with the owner directly. We generally work on a time and materials basis. We have a shopping/delivery transport service where the owner gets the invoice price plus our time and travel expense. Surrounded By Sound Inc. is an Arizona corporation founded in 1992 by R. Scott Callahan who has been in business in Phoenix since 1978. Our specialty is custom installation of electronics for entertainment, communications and automation. We work with the architectural and interior design of a home or a business. We provide speaker and network prewiring to new structures or attic and in wall rewiring for existing structures. We install theatres, fitness centers, media rooms, home office systems, telephone systems, intercoms, multi room / multi source distributed audio video systems and custom cabinetry. Our projects range from private homes, restaurants, hotels, apartment clubhouses & models and hospital nurse call systems. We are experienced in several disciplines such as construction, electronics and design. We regularly have innovative solutions to obstacles created by designers and owners preferences. Scheduled for him to come before New Years so I'd have everything ready for a NYE party. Took a little bit longer than expected, but well within the window he suggested (4-8 hours and he was right at the 8 hour mark). The wiring both behind the TV, as well as behind the receive and other equipment was cleaned up by him. Additionally he drilled a spot of the sub cable and placed my subwoofer in an out of site place.
All the speakers sounded great and looked just as good. It took me a bit to get the outside speakers to work, but that wasn't related to his install (needed to play with the zone 2 settings on my receiver).
When it comes time to install a TV out on the patio, and any other speaker work, he'll be the first person I contact and refer my friends and family to!

To get a TV at exactly the desired distance from the floor you need to measure twice and cut once.
