Sunset Valleywide Roofing, Inc. has been family owned and operated since 1989, and everyone is very hands on. We pay attention to every detail on every job. We do not use paid salesmen, this helps keep our cost down. They did an excellent job on the roof. The owner decided to make comments to a buyer that could have lost me the sale of the house. She was not paid to comment on anything but what we paid her to do.

There were some disconnects in getting the work set up, but, once we got that straightened out, things went smoothly and promptly. I do recommend that if you order through Angie's List that you call them as soon as possible afterward - or simply call them direct. Everyone was helpful, polite, and professional. Work was completed as agreed. I do recommend this family of roofers for any roofing job you may need.

Excellent experience since Melissa and her crew were knowledgable and explained needed repairs in detail. The degree of detail for a roofing crew was the best I have ever experienced in forty years. Melissa and the crew performed the work as they indicated in our original agreement and on time. She also wouldn't cut corners or suggest half measures, rather she explained why certain repairs were necessary and the resulting solutions of each specific repair. I strongly recommend Melissa and her crew.

Melissa coated the entire patio roof instead of the "as-needed" coating that was specified in her quote. She performed work above and beyond her quote to me without charge. I would hire her again.

Melissa was able to quickly assess the required repairs and provide an accurate estimate of the cost to fix the issues. She got her crew there the same day, and the work was completed within a few hours. Everything went well, and we were completely satisfied with the services.

It took her about two months to get the job done; apparently she was going through some health problems. And the out-the-door price was two to three times what the Big Deal was. It took her a while but the work done was fine.

I tried very hard to get you taken care of I am sure you understand that I did not know I was going to have emergency surgery and loose so much time. and even though my angies list sales rep made a mistake and included your area in the big deal.that is outside my service area I told you I would take care of you and asked if you would work with me so I could schedule another job that was in your area. you told me you would work with me. the tile tune up did not include the tear off and reroof to repair the damaged caused by the storm that blew over your tree that fell on your roof or the tiles that where installed incorrect I provided a written estimate for the tree damage and showed photos and received a verbal approval to tear off and reroof that area as well.if you where not ok with the estimates I could have issued you a refund for the tile tune up that you purchased through angies list.again I am sorry for the delays and I am glad that we repaired everything on your roof for the sale and you did not have issues with the buyers home inspector"

She is good but I think the price is something you guys set so that you get a portion of that course and the person that does the service gets a portion. I think that's a little too high. I mean if you don't need much, as far as minor repairs, you're paying out a hundred and fifty bucks for someone to just look at your roof and I have a fairly small house so the alternative would be for me to just set up an inspection for another roof company. That has nothing to do with service that the person that came out for Sunset Valleywide Roofing. You don't know quite what your getting with that kind of service.

They did an excellent job. Showed up on time, spent a couple of hours working on the roof, and showed pictures of what they found and fixed.

Melissa was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She was in Scottsdale when I called and said she could be over in a half an hour. She was right on time and examined our roof. She said that the roof was in good condition, except for the broken tile and those that needed repair. We accepted her bid on the spot, as I had checked with several other companies and they all had a minimum charge and her bid was lower than those (also, she got very good reviews on Angie's List). She said she would need to go to Phoenix to get a tile that would resemble what we have, as these tiles are no longer in production. Melissa called back a couple of days later, saying she would be right over with an assistant to do the work. She was so nice and I felt very confident in her expertise. I would definitely recommend her and her company to anyone interested in getting a fair and honest price along with an excellent job done.

"Thank you for your review, im not sure what I could of done to get better grades my extra repairs where $I85 less for work done at the same time as the deal than I would have charges through my company. and I tried to let Stephanie know what my schedule was and did her job as soon as possible. I explained I was a 1 person company and I was also trying to continue working with serious medical issues,i was working against the advice of my Dr so I could get all deals done before I had surgery. I always do as much as I can. melissa"
