The project started off well. Between the company and my husband, they worked around schedules the first two weeks, we provided the company the days my husband could not work from home which was fine. The demolition people came, and the area was torn up. The electrician was sent, and he performed his job. The workers came back and started to seal up the walls and ceiling. The tile person came and tiled the floor, we noticed that there were tiles where the tile had a lip. Around the 15th started to text Ace messages for what will be happening next and heard nothing. August 19th, Ace sent a text back on what would be happening. Andrew came and added the grout, the next day we noticed that some of the tiles were not leveled, he came back and fixed them but missed one. Floor installer installed the toilet but neglected to add updated baseboard to the back of the toilet and also left a wall in the bathroom with no baseboard. On Friday August 23rd we were told someone was coming at 9am and since my husband could not be home that day I called in sick, by 12pm no one had shown up, I texted Ace and had no response, it wasn't until after 3pm that someone showed up to put the vanity together. I know that I could explain this better to someone instead of writing it down. We were told that this would be a two-week job, and I understand that there have been some issues with people being here at home but for the most part we have been accommodating. We have texted time and time again and no responses whatsoever from Ace. Two weeks ago, on August 28th he said his electrician would be coming over and that it would be later in the evening and 8pm came around and no one showed up, we sent a text to Ace, and he never responded. On August 30th the text message said "We are ready to be finished, they're installing the countertops and that did not happen. The countertops did not get installed until September 5th. Someone came out to install the mirror and it was totally unacceptable. We have not heard from Ace since August 6th when I sent him a text message and he replied back We will be finished today! On Wednesday 13th a worker came and was going to finish some of the stuff, but received a phone call from the electrician and this was a three-way call that included my husband. The conversation was from the electrician to the worker not to do his electrical work, the worker left and did not complete the rest of the issues. On Thursday the 12th the electrician came and said that someone messed with his work, in that a switch that was supposed to turn lighting fixture above the mirror did not work, and he could not complete the job and that he would call Ace to let him know, no one touched any of his work and electrician preceded to tell my husband that he should have been watching what everyone was doing. It seems all these workers are blaming each other, and the work is being neglected, to top it off, Ace has not responded accordingly. Instead of the owner overseeing the work or even having a project manager oversee these jobs us as clients are getting the short end of the stick and becoming frustrated that a job that we were told was 2 -3 weeks to is now a month and a half. We are very frustrated that the owner does not text or call back at all. We had a lot of shoddy work done.
