I only got to use Sunbelt Electric because OneGuard forced me to, and honestly, it was a mistake. They didn’t even come out for 10 days, which meant my ceiling fan sat broken and noisy for over a week. When their tech, Frank, finally arrived, he seemed confident the motor was shot, yet by the time he reported back, he claimed they don’t replace noisy fans. That sudden reversal felt shady and confusing. Because I couldn’t get them to stand behind their own diagnosis, I had to hire Fan Doctor Electric myself. They came out promptly, replaced the motor, and confirmed Frank was right the first time, the motor was bad. It’s upsetting to pay a warranty company’s service fee and then still be out the full repair cost because their provider dragged their feet and changed their tune. I understand policies can be picky, but forcing customers to wait 10 days for a contractor they don’t let you choose, then flip-flopping on the diagnosis, is simply poor service. I hope Sunbelt Electric steps up and honors its technicians’ judgments, or at least communicates honestly. That’s just how I felt, you might have a different outcome, but I can’t recommend them based on my experience.

Great. I got a quick appointment and the next day the technician arrived. He fixed my ceiling fan, replaced the attic light switch and remedied my smoke detector issue.

Received their services as part of a home warranty claim for a broken ceiling fan. First technician shows up, determines it is in fact the fan and not an electrical issue but does not have a fan with him. Says they will order one and come to install. Shortly after I see the claim has been closed by Sunbelt as a completed service and the next day a new home warranty claim is open. They come by a few days later and install the replacement fan. Days later I have a charge on my home warranty for a second claim. 2 claims for one broken ceiling fan? If you have a choice in electrical companies, choose one that doesn't put their customers through this nonsense. They're not worth the hassle that I'm now going through.
