SPEEDY GLASS

I called Speedy Glass because my dog broke a window. I called from work and they asked the size of the window. I told them I'd go home and call them back with the measurements.I called back, gave the measurements and explained it was the lower third of a larger window and the section that was broken is the part that opens, up and down. I said it was single pane and didn't have any special coatings.We made the appointment in the morning, they came in the afternoon, and my son was there to meet him.Then I get a call saying the window is under 18 inches from the ground and it will  need to be safety/tempered glass because of code. Fine, I understand. It will cost $25 more. Okay, I understand that as well, no problem. And I'm going to charge another trip charge because the glass needs to be ordered and I'll need to come back for the install!Sorry, I'm not interested. No one asked me the height of the window. Nobody warned me that there might be a trip charge. 
If a repairman comes to my home and needs to go out to get a part to finish the job, he goes out to get it. He doesn't charge a second trip charge to do it.
I don't blame the guy who came, but the company needs to make it part of their phone questionnaire when they set up the appointment.

Very professional with accurate measurements and matching of the glass. Office staff poor in communicating delay in arrival on day of installation. Very good work.

Did a great job. We were going to go with beveled edges, but they said that would take longer so we decided to go with regular straight edges. They had it ready for us the next day. They were courteous and made sure to keep us updated as to the availability of the beveled edged glass.

IT WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. FRANK, AT THE STORE, WAS PATIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS HONEST WITH ME ABOUT WHAT KIND OF GLASS THEY COULD AND COULDN'T DO AND TOOK A LONG TIME TO TALK WITH ME TO MAKE SURE WE BOTH HAD THE SAME PLAN IN MIND. THE GLASS FOR THE BAR WAS NOT JUST A RECTANGLE BUT HAD A COUPLE NOTCHES THAT HAD TO BE CUT INTO IT AND IT SEEMED LIKE IT WOULD BE REALLY DIFFICULT TO CUT. WHEN THE GLASS ARRIVED, IT FIT PERFECTLY AND LOOKED GREAT. I WOULD DEFINITELY WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.

VERY RESPONSIVE. FOUND AN INEXPENSIVE WAY OF ACCOMPLISHING WHAT I NEEDED TO HAVE DONE. COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS 100%.

THE INSTALLER CAME OUT TO MEASURE THE WINDOW THE SAME DAY AND PUT THE WINDOW ON ORDER. WINDOW WAS DELIVERED AND INSTALLED BY THE PROMISED DATE. I USE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND THEM TO HAVE THE LOWEST PRICING ON WINDOWS FOR MY HOME. THIS WAS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE USED THEM IN ONE YEAR DUE TO THEIR PRICING, RESPONSE TIME, DEPENDABILITY, AND PROFESSIONALISM. ALL THREE TIMES I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WORK WITH THE SAME CONTACT IN THEIR OFFICE (BRANDON) AND THE SAME INSTALLER (JOHN).
