Horrendous. did NOT build to city codes. Poor workmanship. Barry was fined by the Registrar of Contractors. Still living the nightmare after two years

Buyer beware. So they had done some bad work and instead of correcting it Barry did some rigged work and they said call my lawyer. We have judgement against him and he won't pay. Beware of this company

We've had it going for 11 years and they managed to get it fixed. We've had two very, very difficult, hard wind-blown rains since they fixed it and we don't have a leak.

I thought it went very well. They showed up when they were supposed to. They had to change the original bid after starting some of the work, which I wansn't surprised about that. Overall they did a good job.

The company sent a gentleman who did no repair work.  He just gave us an estimate for a total roof replacement, which we could have gotten for free.  We had our handyman take care of the work and have had no problems.  I would not use this company again and will avoid similar "deals" on Angie's List.

It was a great experience working with Barry, Jerry and Brian. These guys are very knowledgeable and professional. They delivered what they promised and in a timely manner. First quote was for the roof only. Upon the start of the work, we discovered that the fascia needed to be replaced. Great job all around. Professional crew and high quality work.

I was very satisfied with the service.  They were professional and accommodated my schedule.  Work was very well done.

It started off VERY rocky.  We met with Steve and finalized the details on the job we wanted done.  We were very particular on the materials and details of the job.  We signed the contract and gave him the first payment.   4 AND 1/2 MONTHS LATER THEY FINALLY STARTED ON THE JOB.   It was always something holding up construction, Steve was sick, or on vacation or they couldn't find parts.
1 1/2 weeks ago Brian, Jerry and crew started construction.  After the hassle of getting this thing started we swore that we'd never use Sonoran Peak for anything ever again. Boy did they change my mind!  These guys were tremendous!  What craftsmen!  They went out of the way to do the job to our satisfaction.  I've never seen such a hard working crew.  Patio is beautiful, The roof on our home is the best in the neighborhood.  I would definitely recommend them.

Sonoran Peak Construction + Roofing was a pleasure to work with from the beginning.  Barry came out within a day or two of a storm to inspect the damage to our roof and gave us a fair and accurate estimate for the work that needed to be done.  The work was done quickly and with great quality.  We will be calling them again when the rest of our roof eventually needs to be replaced in a few years.

The roofing technician did come out and do the inspection.  We knew we had a leak but we thought with the inspection it could let us know how to go about fixing the leak.  As far as I know, he didn't do any of the minor repairs (caulking, resealing, etc) that is listed within the deal.  He did let us know that to repair the leak it would be a much larger job and stated he would have a quote to us within the week.  I never received the quote.  I followed up with him and he asked to come meet at the house to go over the quote with me.  We set up an appointment for October 24th but I had to cancel.  After that, our schedules didn't meet up but I still never received the quote through the mail or e-mail.  After Thanksgiving, he said he would e-mail the quote to me.  I called again after Thanksgiving and he said that he left his computer at home but that he would get it to me when he got home from his vacation.  I haven't heard from him since.  In the meantime, I've had two additional companies come to provide quotes for me and we are going to go with one of them.

The workers arrived on time if not early and they got right to work.  The workers themselves were professional and took care of the repair and clean up.  The ?owner? Barry Cohen seemed like a great guy, professional, and was able to help get us the estimate we needed for the roof repair during a busy time when a lot of folks in the valley were having roof leaks.  Everything seemed to go well and as expected until after we paid the bill.  We have placed no less than seven (7) phone calls to Mr. Cohen to try and receive an invoice showing the bill was paid in full and no balance remained so we could turn the invoice over to our insurance company.  Mr. Cohen seemed very responsive before he received our money but we've heard nothing at all from him since.  Although the work was warrantied for two (2) years, if we can't get Mr. Cohen to answer the phone to send us an invoice, we're a bit skeptical about him coming back to fix his work if it should become necessary.

So far, so good.  We won't know if the repair is actually fixed until we have some good rain storms.  The workers were courteous and hard working.  We weren't informed of the actual day or time of their arrival, so it was a bit inconvenient when they just showed up.  We didn't actually need to be here for the repairs, but it would have been better for us to know.  The owner apologized for not letting us know the time and date and took full responsibility for the oversight.  The work was done with no inconvenience to us and all the mess was cleaned up.  They seemed knowledgeable and I would definitely use them again.

My request for an appointment, received a return call within thirty minutes of my leaving a message.
Steve was able to schedule an appointment later that same afternoon. Other companies had put me on a three to five day out schedule.
Steve arrived a litle ahead of schedule, which helped my days schedule. He completed a  thorough inspection in a very timely and detailed manner. Photos (to show my wife as requested) and a written report were provided within two days of the inspection. The detailed estimate and price fit our budget even with the additional work recommended for a longer lived finished product & warranty. The other estimates and inspections I had didn't even come close to what was provided by Sonoran Peak.
The work was performed very efficiently and in a timely manner, as promised.I am very pleased with the completed project all the way down to how neat and clean my property as left after the crew left. The interior repairs were then completed and completed in three days-demolition, repair and painitng of all three areas that had been leaking.
 
All completed before the last round of three days of rain to test the roof.
I might add before the other companies could even think about scheduling my repairs.
My wife and I feel we got more than our monies worth, fantastic job!!!!

Simply put - excellent.  We needed to replace our roof prior to sale of our home.  Not only was their communication and customer service extremely responsive but they also helped us navigate the insurance claim.  Steve worked with us for over 2 months trying to get the insurance claim straightened out: met with our inspector twice, dropped by our home several times for signing paperwork, etc.  And we were not even positive that we would go through with the roof replacement but Steve still spent the time helping us through the process anyway.  Oh yeah, and the roof is beautifully done too!  The roofers showed up exactly on time, did the work exactly within the estimated schedule and cleaned up nicely.  Don't hesitate to use Sonoran Peak for your roofing needs, you won't be disappointed.

I had previously written a review which was critical of Sonoran Peak.  However, they have redeemed themselves.  Steve Cron, the rep and claim specialist, is extremely knowledgable and professional.  He explained the necessary repairs needed for our roof, provided us with a detailed written report and completed the repairs in a timely fashion.

I bought a roof inspection and maintenance package from Angie's list on April 29, 2013. When I tried to contact company by email I got no response. Then I tried to call the company and they did not respond  for a week when I called from the local company (I had to go to the main website and find the local company, which is listed under a different name) and tried to schedule an appointment. The local people had never heard of the Angie's List deal and there was a lot of confusion about the package. I was finally able to get the local company to recognize the package I bought.
I tried to set an appointment and when I spoke to the receptionist she said she would have the sales man call me. I heard nothing for a week. I called back to find out what was going on and we tried this again. No call. Finally the receptionist called me back and it was while my wife was on vacation and I could not get an appointment set. So now it is six weeks later and I called to set an appointment and the salesman came to the house without a ladder to get on my roof to do the inspection. When he saw the house he got $$$$$ in his eyes because my roof is older and there is some damage. (All I wanted was the chimneys re-caulked and an inspection to tell me if the damage was bad enough to warrant repairs.) The salesman was supposed to return and do an inspection and the caulking done. He was three hours late and still did not have his truck and ladder. Finally I called the company and stated I needed the repairs done ASAP. The salesman called and said he would be out in a couple of hours. Eight hours later he showed up and did the repairs and did not even talk to me or my wife and left.

Called company and asked for a quote on some work we needed done.
I was told to email my information and someone would get back with me on Monday.
Never happened.
I called them and ask for someone to look at the work to be done.
I was told someone would look at the job that day and get back with me.
Never heard from anybody at this company again.
They had my email and phone number because he repeated it to me when we spoke over the phone.
Not dependable.  Not considerate.  Not reliable.
I would look else where.

The service was out of the area.  They had to sub contract out. The gentleman that called  never identified himself or the company.  I had to cancel the first appointment due to complications. He missed the next appointment due to issues with his equipment. I had to call I’m and he stated he didn’t have my phone number. I ended up having to cancel this offer because we couldn’t come up with a mutual date.

They were on time and very professional. Even with some personal difficulties that the estimator had, he made an extra effort to come out and sit with me and go item by item and give me product information. He spent a lot of extra time, which I really appreciated.
