remodeling, cabinet refacing
+ 0 moreThe worker did a good job refinshing the front door, but nothing else was done timely or quality. The wood for the kick plates was wrong, the wood was not finished, and has big nail holes. The kitchen cabinet has been torn abour for two weeks. After missing two revised deadline set byu showcase and simply not returning to complete work, we turned to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for help. Do yourself a favor and talk with the Registrar of Cotnractors legal department.
Description of Work: Check the Arizona Registrar of Contractors web site and search for both Showcase #161194 and M&M Development #214145. Tom Thiede doing business as Showcase Remodeling was to do cabinet repair, Kitchen and Bathroom trim work, refinish the front door, and repairs to granite countertops. They did a decent job on refinshing the front door, but nothing else was done timely or quality. The wood for the kick plates was the wrong kind, not finished, and has big nail holes. We finally turned to the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for help. Do yourself a favor and talk with the ROC's legal department.

+ 1 moreThe poor quality of the work that was performed, this missed deadlines, and the lack of responsiveness cause us to do a more thorough search on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors web site. The owner Tom Thiede had two contracting licenses and you should check out the status of both #214145 and #161194. We asked for a refund for the work that remained outstdanding and were refused. We are now resolving this through the ROC's complaint process. Very disappointed.
Description of Work: This company was to repair existing cabinets, build new cabinets, and misc trim work.
