Scottsdale Sub Zero Repair

I made contact requesting both my Sub Z refrigerator & freezer be serviced... the regular recommended annual service. My initial reaction was $65 per appliance just to come out seemed high compared to other service companies, but it's Sub Z, so probably to be expected... but then the guy scheduling the service call asked me for a credit card to secure the appointment time... and even I have called enough repair people to know that's not typical here. When I asked him to explain he immediately changed the explanation... if I gave a cc to secure the appointment then the trip charge would be $100 instead out $130. I declined to provide advance payment-I just had a weird feeling... The appointment was supposed to be the following afternoon. No one showed up and no one called. I opted to find a different service provider instead of seeking further assistance. After contacting the company I use for other appliances (did not know they also did Sub Z) I'm glad this guy didn't show up! Affordable Appliance is absolutely wonderful!! They have come out several times over the passed few years. They service literally every brand, they can be out the same day in most cases & Manny, who handles everything is one of the nicest contractor-type people I've ever met.
