+ -1 moreDid he die???? No calls returned. In fact, I did not even realize he had removed the fan from our unit until I had another contractor check out the unit. I called the manufacturer and discovered that our A/C unit had been discontinued and that there were no more parts, but I should have been advised of recall???? Where was Quinlan when I needed them??? Outside having a smoke. Anyway, I now have a brand new unit, installed by a truly professional company. But, that is another report. My advise, avoid Quinlan A/C.
Description of Work: Quinlan installed a wine cellar A/C unit in our custom home in 2001. Since then I have had Michael Quinlan and his various flunkies come to my home numerous times (10 ++++) to repair it. It has completely failed 5 separate times. This June, when it stopped working again (with over $10K in wine cellared) Michael Quinlan arrived, (after several calls) reeking of cigarettes, as always, with all of his money woes and usual excuses for avoiding returning my calls. After checking the unit, removing a fan for replacement. I never heard from him again.

+ -1 moreIt took Quinlan a while to get here but when they arrived they were great! They are very responsive, every time I called them they called right back. They were good about responding to my needs. They were also customer oriented. They are a great company.
Description of Work: Quinlan came out for a spring check-up on my air conditioner and replaced the thermostat.

+ -1 moreCalled them. Left message with person answering the telephone after verifying it was the right company. Told them what I needed regarding an estimate. I never heard from them again.
Description of Work: Requested an estimate to replace an existing Roof Top all-in-one Air Conditioner and Heater 3 1/2 ton unit. It was for the house of my elderly mother and I had to handle it remotely from out of state, so extra effort for me to select the right contractor.
