PETTY DEVELOPMENT

We have a 2-story house that has all aluminum single pane windows. Needless to say it will be very costly to replace all of them at once, which is why we were only looking to replace at this time, no more than 4 windows. We already had two other companies come by for quotes, and the process was long, to say the least, typically consisting of a few minutes of measuring, and whole lot of selling. I called Dustin to request a quote, and here's how the whole process went: First, he came by to look at and measure our windows. He took a few minutes to measure our windows, then left, leaving us tend to the rest of our day without hearing a sales pitch for the next 45 minutes. We received the quote within a day. It was by far the lowest quote we had received. Now is the part that I VERY much appreciated. Finding detailed information about windows is surprisingly difficult. Sure, I went to all kinds of websites, including manufacturers, blogs, reviews, etc., but it is almost impossible to really get a good idea of what these windows really look like up close, let alone what they feel like in person. I bombarded Dustin with all kinds of questions about windows, the installation, the materials, what I had read and heard, etc. You name it, I asked it through emails and phone calls. Dustin was very patient and accommodating in all regards. He also sent me photos of previous jobs he did, showing the same application as our house. When I asked about alternative manufacturers to the one he had quoted, he looked into it and had a revised estimate for me quickly. He also had stopped by a second time to drop off 2 window samples from different manufacturers so I could really see how the windows looked and felt. He had quoted 4 windows total, but said he didn't have a problem with not doing all the windows at once, and seemed like he was very understanding of the difficulty in replacing many windows at one time. He was fine with replacing one or two here and another one or two later until our house is finished. This was again very much appreciated. After all of that, we ended up only replacing 2 windows because of an unexpected repair that was needed on the house. And he was fine with that. Installation was very straight forward. He came by exactly when he said he would, and stayed as long as he said he would. I can't rightly comment on the quality of the windows or the work since he finished the work only a few hours ago, but everything looks good. Only time will tell how the quality is. So we will be looking forward to when we're ready for some more window replacements from Petty Development. Only for the next round, we'll be much easier customers.
